  1. They must have been going near highway speed and ran right into the back of the truck.
  2. Should have smoked some marijuana or had some kratom tea instead. Alcohol is the worst
  3. This is a must watch. I have been watching this retired submariners channel for 2 years. The lack of basic technology needed for safety on this thing is just mind blowing.
  4. People fall off balconies all the time. Do you think most of them are conspiracies or something ? I don't. Because I know how casual some ppl are around them. Chairs and tables around, kids climbing around on them. Im surprised more kids don't go down them.
  5. Im not buying that myth anymore. There was some builds from the 70's that were lower. But most of the railings since then are a pretty standard height.
  6. It probably wasn't faulty wiring or breakers. This isn't the 70's. The components all come from the same places
  7. Being scared of heights is a basic survival instinct. When I am drinking more than a couple beer, the balcony gets closed off.
  8. I am not sure if I fully understand. You mean the "no free will" view ?
  9. I think if the atheists were right and everything was random, life would be a lot better. If we were all just playing the averages and everything was 50/50, life should be far less painful for the average person. It had to take divine intervention to make the human condition and all of its frailty this bad. The average persons life is pretty awful. And it will always be this way
  10. There is basically no such thing as truth in a lot of intellectual endeavours. And the subject of diet is perhaps the best example. There is too many variables, its too complex and too many things are random. One guru says one thing, and the next guru says the opposite. One trend catches on. Then 5 years later, the next trend is almost the opposite of the previous one One guru says that fasting makes you gain weight because your body notices less intake so it decides it needs to store energy. Then the next guru says of course you need to eat less. Because excess calory intake simply means you are gaining weight. And then there is water retention. People working out and dieting aren't losing any fat because their body retains too much water. They actually end up losing more weight when they give up and have a big meal. Because the water goes away
  11. So food stuffs like wheat , potatoes and rice, which saved billions of ppl from starvation through the ages is very very bad for us they say. What a bunch of nonsense.
  12. She looks younger and decent. He's getting dumped
  13. It is the most obvious case of failed counter steering on the internet. And is being used by riding schools across the planet as a case study.
  14. From his facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100029935089826 It looks like he was a religious man, dedicated to his craft and family. And his wife was just casual about throwing it all away and throwing away the honor of their family.
  15. What he did was an alpha move biologically. There wasn't anything passive about it. Put it that way
  16. Yeah. There has been an update. And it still points to that imo Update https://talk.thethaiger.com/topic/25407-news-forum-indian-man-drowns-in-pattaya-pool-as-witnesses-mistake-struggle-for-play/ Initially, the woman and other onlookers believed that Kumar was joking around, as he had been diving and playing for some time. However, when he failed to resurface after about a minute, witnesses raised the alarm and called for security assistance.
  17. This is what is happening with most of these tourists on motorcycles in curves. They just don't get it. This guy cant even begin to get the bike to turn. He just rides it almost straight into the rail. This guy almost does the same thing. Speed is not relevant to these accidents. He is fighting the lean and can't get the bike to turn.
  18. More to this perhaps ? Usually in a drowning, the person panics and flails away until they go under. They don't sink like a rock without any struggle
  19. And another...... American Man, 67, Dies After 'Big Motorbike' Crash in Phang ... Feb 1, 2023 — Police and emergency responders arrived at a curve on the northbound lane in the Tak Dad sub-district. A brand new but now damaged big bike ...
  20. You must not have finished the video. It clearly shows him steering the wrong way in slow motion, then double slow motion. I posted 3 news clippings showing motorcycles crashing by themselves in curves. Not in intersections, not in corners. Curves. So you think all 3 of these riders, most likely had a good grasp of the concept of counter steering ?
  21. 5 of the Most Dangerous, Accident-Prone Roads in Bangkok 1. The Curve in Front of Ratchada Shrine According to recent information from the Accident Research Center in Thailand (June 10, 2022), Bangkok’s most dangerous, accident-prone road is the curve in front of the famous Ratchada Shrine, AKA “The Curve of 100 Bodies”.
  22. 3 different news clippings. I see a pattern... 1)Swede dies in motorbike crash just 5 days after meeting Thai girlfriend A 50-year-old Swedish national died immediately after his motorcycle overshot a curve in Roi Et’s Suwannaphum district on Saturday, just five days after he met his Thai girlfriend. 2)Motorbike crash kills Phuket man | Thaiger Mar 2, 2023 — This tragedy comes after another motorbike crash in Thailand killed a ... He had reportedly crashed his motorbike while navigating a curve. 3) https://www.thephuketnews.com/woman-...road-87553.php Mar 22, 2023 — Officers believe the motorbike was travelling at high speed when the driver lost control on the curve
  23. I am from Vancouver. In 2008, a Vancouver Canucks hockey player was killed when his motorcycle somehow crossed the centerline and head on into a semi truck. He had his motorcycle licence for 2 weeks. Hmmm I wonder what happened... I have no idea... https://toronto.citynews.ca/2008/05/29/young-canuck-defenceman-killed-in-motorcycle-crash/
  24. Of course it is intuitive. Nobody said it wasn't. If you think it is just a fluke that these accidents happen in curves, you'd be "completely" wrong. If you think riders wouldn't steer the wrong way into things you'd be "completely" wrong too. And since you dug your heels in already, you will just say this guy was going too fast.
