I've tried 4 different options other than Long-term Stay In Thailand recently and all 4 were coded the same...International Transfer.

Yep had the exact same thing within the past month. Always something new and intrusive, but what can ya do❓ However, things at Wise are so inconsistent now. My last transfer of $3725 from my US bank 2 weeks ago arrived same day in about 6 hours. Fastest ever. This past week, initiated a transfer of $4200 from the same bank on 2 April, but they claimed the money would take longer than expected for them to receive it...up to a week❗So checked my bank and Wise had withdrawn the funds on...April 2nd. WTF❓So I cancelled and got the refund today. Then initiated another transfer on 3 April for the same amount. Same thing. Says the money will take longer than expected. They say 9 April. And of course the rate at the time was much higher than it is currently. Ridiculous.

BHP Dental...EXCELLENT service and work. Just had a root canal done there last month. Fairly priced and top shelf endodontics. B18,000.

I hear ya...but been waiting since 1980. 🤣 Did sell some then. But bought a lot more for years after that, dirt cheap. Should have sold in 2011. Don't need the cash, just want to off-load it. Clearing out the clutter.

The name was in Thai and I didn't take a picture of it. As you exit the front of Tukcom at South Pattaya Rd, go left past Starbucks. The first gold shop you'll see, just across the little soi, is called Proud. They may buy there...but we continued on a bit further and the next gold shop on the left is where I sold. Small Mom & Pop shop with husband and wife tending the store. Hope this helps

I didn't have much, but sold my gold coins for THB yesterday. Didn't need the money, but figured I'd dump it at a high price. Gonna offload my silver coins too soon, if can find a pawn shop or individual to buy it.

Thanks for all replies. A gold shop very near Tukcom Pattaya bought the coins. Not quite spot, but close enough for me.

Melt value is all I'm looking for. Zero plans on returning to The States anytime soon...or ever. Currently the melt value based on this chart is USD$540...USD$1081...USD$2162.

Went to 3 gold shops yesterday in Pattaya, the ones in most Lotus and Big C...Aurora, Bangkok(something) and another one. All said they do not buy US gold coins. Anyone know of a shop in Pattaya (or even BKK) that will purchase these coins❓They are a 1911 Indian Head $5 (Half Eagle), a 1911 Indian Head $10 (Eagle) and a 1908 Saint-Gaudens $20 (Double Eagle). All are 90%.

Same for me there, but 24 years ago. Opened it on a 30 day visa exempt from USA. Doubtful they are as accommodating these day...especially for us Yanks.

Trump didn't have the $83m in the sexual assault case and secured a bond which cost him about $10m more. Doubtful this lying ...has the $175m. Guess we'll find out in 10 days. He may get some for-profit insurance company to again cover the bond, but that'll cost him much more and they'll be sure to secure top notch collateral from the Slimy Fraudster .

Been to HH twice this year and compared to Jomtien and Pattaya, where I never dare to even dip a toe, Hua Hin Beach was fab. Water was clean and clear. Not crowded. Nice waves. No trash on the beach or in the water. Swam multiple times and enjoyed it. Love getting into the sea, which hadn't done in years, for a swim and soak.

Loved Trinks Night Owl column and looked forward to it every week. Great stories and intel on the bar scenes and girls back in the early and mid-90s. Read his column to the very end around 2003...? However, The Post made him tone it down so much that many of the weeklies in the last 3 years were were kinda lame and mundane. Alw Always looked for him in Cowboy and Nana, but unfortunately our paths never crossed. 🍻

I just ignore it and trash it every year here in Jomtien. Never a mention of it. Will do the same again this June. If they didn't give you a 3 month return form, then you haven't any obligation, nor even reason to think about it. Relax and carry on normally. It's a BS non-requirement.
