  1. It always does for me.
  2. Yes simple. The 'standard delivery' is the only free option available. The price will be deducted at check out.
  3. Yes, many of us know that but as I've already pointed out, pain does not always manifest at the site of the trauma. I suffered a similar accident to the one the O/P had and I also had pain in the bicep, still do sometimes. It's called 'referred pain'. If you had read the whole thread instead of trying to a smart alex, you'd know about that.
  4. That's very much in line with my thinking as well. The O/Ps problems started with a fall. It's possible that as well as injuring his arm/shoulder, he could also have sustained a whiplash injury to the neck. Many such injuries go undetected. Did you see this article @simon43? Read the full article in Thaiger.
  5. Was it hopping mad?
  6. Yes I do and they're all clearly annotated as such.
  7. A correction to this, I meant KYC policies. (Know Your Customer) Nothing to do New York City.
  8. Not just how much but also the source of those monies. My incomes are all, very clearly pensions, so are not likely to arouse any suspicions.
  9. Every link on the page George. This not a case of slow links, there is simply no response at all from any of the links. As I said, the only link that I could get a response from was 'start new topic', the one that got us to this conversation. It's like having a car that refuses to start, but once you have got it running (using tricks of the trade), it runs ok. As it is right now. It's very frustrating. Thanks for taking an interest.
  10. As far as I can judge they are not harvesting any information that they do not already know. This procedure is quite common now in the financial world and is part of the NYC policies.
  11. If you follow on down the thread @john donson you'll discover that I have now managed to re-activate my Truemoney wallet and there is plenty of good advise on how to do so. Read through thread again (ignoring all the naysayers) and you'll come across plenty of useful information and help. Contact me if you need more assistance.
  12. I've not had anything like this in the 4 years that I've been using Wise, but I'm interested to know what the nationalities are of those who do receive such requests. I'm a Brit and they know that and we not, as everyone knows, a member of the EU anymore and I notice that this does refer to 'EU regulations'.
  13. On my computer using Win 11 and Opera browser. It's been happening ever since the break last week. It's intermittent. After posting this thread and moving on to a new topic it's working normally again. It seems to be a 'wake up' thing. Once I've played around a bit and one link working, everything is normal again. Very strange.
  14. Is anyone else out having problems with links not working? I'm having repeated problems with selecting threads to follow and nothing happens. Nor can I select a notification to view, or even my own profile! I just seem to be stuck on the same page. The only one that worked for me just now was 'create new topic'., which is just as well or you wouldn't be reading this 'cry for help!'
  15. During the recovery phase of the injury that I mentioned yesterday, I also had pain in the same spot and under similar conditions. It continued until I had regained full use of my shoulder and it does still occasionally twinge, but not badly enough to bother me. My own assessment is that it not actually in the muscle. Rather I think it's in a nerve running through that area from the shoulder. It's often called 'referred pain'. It could actually originate in the neck or shoulder, but is felt elsewhere, in your case and mine, the bicep. I can still induce if I move my shoulder carelessly. I hope you find that useful.
  16. For a while, yes they did. Then the agents creep back in and start the cycle all over again once the brown envelopes have exchanged hands. It's been going on for many years.
  17. I have just recently cured my own shoulder issue following a fall some 18 months ago. I'm not one to running to the doctor's office with every ailment and much prefer to use my own knowledge and recourses. Mine is Qigong, a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I'm guessing you don't know Qigong otherwise you wouldn't be asking on the forum for advice. But there is an alternative. Do you have access to an acupuncturist? Even better if there's one who also practice's therapeutic massage. Your arm/shoulder problem is just the sort of issue that they very good at curing because they address the problem holistically, not just 'fix' the symptoms. Good luck.
  18. Following the accident I spoke of earlier, our local government authority passed out instructions banning this practice. Now whether it was at their own behest, or whether they were enforcing existing laws I do not know, but it certainly worked. No one around obstructs the roads with rice, peanuts or anything else nowadays.
  19. A few years ago an accident was reported on TVF in which 2 pickup drivers were killed when their vehicles collided head on a bend in a rural road. One of them was driving on the wrong side to avoid the rice that was laid out on his side of the road. This is the 21st century. Time for some 21st century rules.
  20. I learned quite a few years ago to be wary of buffalo when one is protecting a calf. Give them a wide berth!
  21. Yes I do. I use it mainly for accessing the BBC iPlayer and it is very reliable in that roll.
  22. 60 years ago the fastest thing in an Issan village was a buffalo! This practice was banned in our village quite a few years ago.
  23. Explain in plain English please.
  24. So here is the real story regarding this incident. There was NO motorcyclist involved in the crash, only a parked M/C. The driver was uninjured but very drunk at 240 milligrams per cent. Read the full story here. Drunk and drive! Pickup truck loses control and collides with motorcycle
