This one: https://www.streamvpn.com I've been using them since 2006, firstly in China, then Egypt and now here. Very reliable and a great support desk on the very rare occasions that things do go awry

Taxation of Ex-Pats pensions etc.

English lessons not welcome here. -
That's exactly what I do with my Canon and it's now been running trouble free for almost 4 years, with only the occasional head clean. I do marriage extensions using the income method, so it gets a real hammering once a year!

I'm still using the original MS Money, bought on CD in the UK in 2001. It runs perfectly well on Windows 11. -
Taxation of Ex-Pats pensions etc.

It's only natural I guess for folks to gravitate toward personal taxation when discussing DTAs, but actually they are more about business taxes and a designed to smooth out and simplify business transactions between nations. The fact that we benefit at a personal level is more a byproduct of those treaties. The treaties benefit both nations, which is why we are very unlikely to see any changes in our situations. -

Death of spouse effect on my marriage visa?
Moonlover replied to trubrit's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Although my good wife is 15 years my junior, she has nonetheless arranged a 'whole of life' insurance on her good self, just in case. Should she predecease me (unlikely but it happens) I shall receive 1,000,000 THB plus bonus's payout, thus ensuring that I can switch to a retirement extension with ease when my marriage one expires. They may not help the O/P much, for whom I offer my sympathies', but it might be 'food for thought' for others following this thread. -

Whenever I see yet another thread being raised on this topic, I immediatly refer back to the original article on this matter, which stated quite clearly: 'Also exempt will be those who have been taxed in a foreign country that has a standing Double Tax Agreement with Thailand'. (with apologies to the mods for the use of big fonts!) That's my mantra, and I'm sticking to it.- 199 replies

This is a very timely article for me. I had a fall about 18 months ago, landing heavily on my right shoulder. There was no apparent fracture and I cured my vey stiff and painful shoulder using NSAIDs and gentle manipulation. But my neck, although apparently uninjured, does creak and pop if I move it around too much. I shall treat it a lot more gently from here on in, just in case. Thanks for sharing your story.

Thai man loses pickup to woman after 2 weeks of dating

And you need to read all the responses. -
And let's hope that it will be the new version that we had before the 'crash'. That was a real improvement.

I amused myself for a while reading through some of the obituaries in other forums. that had been written about the final demise ASEAN NOW. I'll not repeat what some of them said about us.

Absolutely great. I think I'll take a week's hiatus from this forum more often.

The DWP who manage UK state pensions never send letters and another provider of mine has gone paperless, so they don't send letters either. I didn't even bother with letters this year. I gave them a downloaded copy of my PAYE tax summery for the year, which lists all of my pension incomes. They made no comment, so I guess they were happy with that.

Deputy health minister persuades Thai couples to have children

As far as the country goes, in the long term the cost of not having children will be even greater. Who will produce the goods, provide the services and take care of the aging population? -
That's really good to know. May I ask how many days he took over the journey? Thanks for giving us the follow up. Not many people seem to do that on this forum.
-
Why did you find it a horrible process? The reason I ask this is because for most people I've spoken to, it seems to be the financials when using the monthly income method that gives people angst. From here on in. it seems that only those folks who can show 400k in the bank will get a yearly visa. But having that sum of money available is the easiest way to get a marriage extension anyway. Why throw away good money for the sake of one days hassle? Which as I've already said I don't regard as being a hassle anyway.

The main reason that the a marriage extension is sent to the regional HQ is because they and only they can carry out some extra checks to ensure that the marriage is a genuine one. There have been a lot of faux marriages over the years, mainly marriages of convenience to enable the male partner to stay in country. Those of us in genuine relationships have nothing to be concerned about.

My apologies. Hope he has a great ride. I've done a few long runs on my Aerox which has the same engine as the Tricity. I stay away from main highways as much as I can and seek out the country routes. I've some great adventures, but never more than 150kms per day. That's more my own endurance rather than the bike which is well up to it.
