Firstly those names seem like they were pulled out of a hat, secondly they don't look particularly western by stature. Lastly since when have authorities held back details about nationality? usually it's in the headline when it's a Brit or American. This part seems too specific to be random, so let me get this straight an apartment block owner, that specifically rents rooms to Europeans and Americans in Sathorn? if that were true that would be very unusual business behaviour for an owner operating expensive rooms in Sathorn. Why would they limit their clients to European or American? Makes no sense at all, especially since we all know landlords like this favour Asians in their condo's ????

A. Docked in Pattaya being serviced by somchai? while you get serviced by some somtam breathed wench? while they local thugs try and shake you down.

B. Would you rather be docked in Monaco, having your super yacht serviced by the professionals, while you get serviced by super models from all over the world, all whilst avoiding tax?

For me personally it would be a no brainer ???? I think the billionaires would feel the same, people don't get super rich by being stupid do they?

Thailand needs to realise it's position and get in it's lane and cater to the people that want to visit/ live in Thailand, instead of trying to lure in these elusive billionaires that only exist in TAT's head.

No billionaire will put his time, or money into such an unstable environment, where the rules change everyday, the government official's describe their race as smelly, and they have no legal rights to protect themselves or their assets.

Wake up TAT! Get your head out of the clouds and serve your customer base.

They tend to use similar language too they it's either the same twisted person making lots of accounts or a small team of people / bots being given a similar script to direct a particular narrative on topics.

I think most people realise that they are using our morals and western sense of fair play against us.

They shout racism because they know we are decent people with morals and that we try to be fair to people of all colours and creeds (most of us anyway) but if you have ever been to China you will know how they treat people of colour / ethnic minorities first hand. If you have not been to China do a little research and you will realise they are using your own sense of fair play against you as some kind of weapon.

Also if you have Indian friends or black friends go for a night out with them in Bangkok (once the lockdown is over) and see how they are treated for one night ( I have ) it's shocking. Spoiler alert you will be charged to enter the club while Thai's will get in for free and your Indian / black friends will be flat out turned away at the door, when you leave the club (after paying) to go find what happened to your Indian / black friends, observe as you travel throughout the evening (trying to find somewhere that will let them in) you wil notice them being treated badly everywhere by the Thai people (not by all of them but by a majority) no matter what they do or how they behave.

They don't believe in equality themselves but they view it as a tool to be used as a against the west whenever we say anything they don't like.

This uproar around the naming of the Thai variant is a perfect Thai example of this it just goes to show that Thailand is aware that the CCP tactics of crying racism play into our very sense of fair play and so they use the very same tactic themselves.

Thai variant naming, racism? come on, give me a break!

Did you join TV just to say that? By the way in case you hadn't noticed they were doing a pretty good job of devastating tourism by themselves, long before covid arrived by their behaviour and policies towards westerners, the fact is people were leaving in their droves way before the pandemic.

Don't blame the name of the variant, everyone knows xenophobia towards western people has been rife in Thailand for a long time. People were already avoiding coming because of the murder of westerners (among other things) that kept happening on the Islands way before covid appeared.

They only want the tourists back now because they are low on cash $$ the tourists know they were only ever tolerated for their money in the first place.

Also as already pointed out they have been happy to put UK variant on the front pages of all the national newspapers, so why are they so butthurt now that they have their own variant?

They don't mind dishing it out but they can't take it themselves, can they?
