Your a lost soul sir. If I had an EV Scooter I would post a picture of it. Love my gas powered Yamaha X-Max 300 where I can ride until I need to get more gas......as always you seem to be itching to call people names when you have no real idea of the lives we lead. Join your Condos board as a member and get back to us. You have a hard time letting go of certain things that are out of your sphere of influence, so if you can't beat them join them and make a difference. You see things differently so at this point since all your doing in my view is trolling I will agree to disagree with you and place you onto the pile of frustrated folks who do not want to help but just complain. Adios, enjoy your Sunday, headed out to drive through the beautiful countryside of PKK. -
So reality is Anecdotal. I was born here to US military personnel, raised here until I was 5 then back to the US, but we would come back yearly. When I was in the military I came yearly for training in the 80's, then while working on loan to the Department of State I lived here in 98 and 99. I moved here semi permanently in 2005, and then permanently in 2009. Not going to total up the actual months and years for you. I was married to a Thai woman, now my ex and we have a now 15 year old daughter. My ex-wifes father was the Poo Yai Baan of a village in Udon Thani, and my now ex brother in-law is a Pol Lt. Col in the RTP. My ex-father in law became the Kamnan, and his family members (Uncles) were Generals in the Military. I have been around long enough to know that what you see is only the top small percent while everything else is hidden in murkiness. Time to stop playing games with you as you seem to believe you know the whole story, but in reality you see the black and white of what this government prints. Adios enjoy your Sunday and tomorrows holiday.

Should co-owners pay for EV scooter charging.

Any other post not to his liking is just annoying him as he replied back to me above. Now he believes I should go away. Constructive debate and exchanging of ideas is what's been going on with this OP. As said before get a new bylaw passed, but until then it's not theft. You don't like it @Crickybut that's the gods truth. No Sir I won't go away. -

By the way, where did I post nastily on any of my posts. Is it that what you hear from my readin my posts, a nasty comment? Get a new bylaw placed in the bylaws making it illegal to use those common area outlets for charging...up to you. -

His posts are far from off topic. You still make the assumption that anyone who disagrees with you and brings up valud points us an angry EV owner. You do not like to hear anything other than those in agreement with you. As has been said, by myself, until there is a bylaw or rule regulating the use of the outlets, using them is still legal. -
Your continually debating what is said by others who believe not everything is upfront and hidden. You truly do believe that this government posts everything.....many 9f us who have lived here fir quite some time see how things run behind the scenes. Many houses that are empty are still on the banks lists yet never show up as an NPL. Neighbor made one payment on his new car and then never paid another penny for 2 more years, yet the bank never came after him until they decided too 3 years later and he was still driving it. At that point he gave them the car back and 50k Thb. The bank then sold it to a vehicle tent sales location. His wife then bought it with cash for half the price the original loan was for. This loan never hit the NPL list for many years. In the west if your delinquent they come after you quickly to regain the asset... Believe what you want, but it's not just a numbers game as you always spout.

I am a condo owner, not an EV owner as of yet, but have installed at my house a charging system for friends who visit and have EV'S, try again. You sure do make many assumptions. -

Is it illegal to use those outlets in the common areas and/or agai st Condominium bylaws. If not then it's not theft, it's use is then tacitly approved by the juristic committee. You really are making a mountain out of a tiny mole hill. Until there is a bylaw or rule against using the outlets for charging of anything then it's deemed legal. -

Renting a condo for less than 30 days is illegal, not sure your aware of this. It's posted in my condos main area and in each of the elevators. On top of that you need a key card to enter the building and the lifts and you need to walk past the security desk who is aware of who lives there. Visitors re stopped as well as any contractors who must register in the lobby and wait for the person who invited them over to come down to the lobby and sign them in. They are then given a visitors pass. No visitors can park in the garage, but they can use the game room with its seating and electrical outlets to charge their phones.... Each condo or apartment complex is different and there are rules put in place. We have a large board in the main elevator waiting area as well as the pool which tells you what's allowed and what's not. I guess I picked the right condominium to purchase. As I said the owners and renters can use the electric outlets in the garages as well as the water to wash their vehicles. There is a specified location with drains for washing the vehicles. Some condos, older ones, were set up better than others and are run professionally. I have placed a request on the juristic/owners meeting agenda for a review of installing EV charging stations for vehicles since it is up and coming as far as folks buying an EV car. In light of this OP I asked the juristic manager last night about charging EV motorbikes and he indicated there is no issue with it as the bylaws do not indicate it is illegal. Motorbikes are only allowed to park on the lower level where indicated. There is no assigned parking. This is now also up for discussion as far as parking spots go to be assigned in the future. This would be the first step in my view so actual EV chargers could be Installed at the owners expense of course. -

My condo garage is secure with a guard gate and to enter you need to use a card key to open the gate. The security guard in the booth there writes down the plates of cars going in and out and only owners are allowed access. Security cameras are also in place on all floors of the parking garage. The garage holds up to 40 motorbikes on the 1st level and 20 cars on each of the other 9 levels. We have 200 units in the condo. The pool and gym are on the 12th floor. The pool is under cover of the 14th floor, and so it can be used when it's raining. We also have saunas which can be used and they are attached to the common area bathrooms by the gym area. I know a few folks who shower everyday in those bathroom after working out and then go to work. No one has complained at all. We also have a bottom basement floor with a washing machine room and water machine for those that want to avail there use. The washing machine runs 20 baht to wash a load and the water machine is 1 baht per liter. We have a game room as well with seating where you can relax if you don't want to stay in your condo and it is air-conditioned as well. Some of those that have small units avail themselves of this area and work on there computers as many work from home. As I said before the condo management runs the building amazingly and twice a year we have a dinner owners meeting off site. My water bill runs around 180 baht a month my power is measured by MEA and we are billed by MEA at the government rate and not by the condo juristic. My Common Area Maintenance fees this year, which I payed in January for the Whole year were 85k Thb, my unit is 136 sqm, so it runs about 7k Thb per month or 52 baht per SqM. The costs include the janitorial staff, the condo engineering folks, the security guards and then of course juristic management, and then the power and water in the common areas which includes the garages, elevators, pool and gym. -

Our bylaws allows users of the facilities to clean there cars. There is never an abuse. The condo is well managed by the management company. The upkeep is great and just this past year they remodeled the entry lobby and painted the building, which of course the Common Area Maintenance fees paid for. We also had a new elevator Installed as one of them broke down. New water tanks were also added to the rooftop area. The pool will be re-tiled this year as well. The junior owner in the condo is myself as we bought just 5 years ago. The others have been there for years. Only 1/4 are renters. -

If it gives you such heartburn have it written into the condominium bylaws which state it is illegal, but until it is banned learn to live with it and don't get wrapped around the axels. -
