  1. Am I a troll or are you just baiting again.
  2. You must want to charge the visitors of condo owners who come to the condos and who use the common area toilets then, is that correct?
  3. Your not paying for all of them to charge the EV bike batteries now are you....your paying your portion of the common area maintenence fee which includes electric as used by all in the common area fir all things including the gym, bathrooms etc... So if there are as KhunLA says in his quote below, even 10 bikes, your maybe paying 50 to 100 baht of your fee for the year. Into electric. If you feel so inclined then reduce your annual fee payment and inform the juristic committee of such reduction. The same would apply for those washing there cars with common area water or dumping trash from there cars into the trash cans in the garages....
  4. So the owners living abroad are failing to pay the annual common area maintenance/organization fees which includes electric? If they are paying there annual fees then by renting the apartment/condo the renters enjoy the same use of the common areas as the owner. Your a little delusional in your view.
  5. So no pay, just volunteer and collect your meager pension....Yes Sir anything you say sir, will I get a free meal sir, do I have to wear a uniform sir.....ludicrous.....
  6. As someone who lives in PKK I have to either drive to DM or Suvarnabhumi if I wish to fly somewhere other than to Chiang Mai from where I can fly elsewhere. It would be nice if they added flights here and of course it would increase tourism here which is pretty light. INstead we drive to Phuket for our visits which takes about 9 hours on a straight thru drive. Of course stopping off in Krabi and visiting the locales there for a few days does break up the drive. The past week I have watched as VIP bus after VIP bus headed south. Just yesterday as we drove back to the house from PKK Muaeng we counted no less than 22 of these buses headed south. Now just where could they be going.....Chumpon, Krabi, Phang Nga, Phuket? The bus companies are doing a brisk business and I am sure the airlines could be too.
  7. A correction in the economy is a recession...... What Is a Correction? A “Correction” describes when an asset or industry loses a significant amount of value. Tourism industry GDP etc.....slowing down will cause more contractions.....recession....then if bad enough a depression.. https://smartasset.com/financial-advisor/recession-vs-depression
  8. Far from confused. Lived here long enough to know when to whine and bitch about things that are out of your sphere of influence. Tell me do you as an owner pay the CAMO fee and confront other owners who use more of the common area....no you don't as you live in a house, so your just trolling here.
  9. Now your running the gamut and mixing apples and oranges. Let me run my bitcoin mining rigs off of your solar power...then there's an issue. Even a true EV car uses more energy than a tiny EV bike battery. But to placate you someone took some oranges off my tree, now that's stealing but then I give half away free anyway...guess the Monks in Thailand are stealing from you as well...
  10. Citizens here get representation non citizens do not....
  11. Not ignoring what we pump into the economy. Do you understand that constituents are who the elected technically work for to enhance there communities and help them obtain the benefits needed. Do you gain any benefits from this government directky for yourself? If your married to a Thai you might get something out of it like the travel subsidy while others who are just expats with no ties to a Thai family obtain nothing. So again tell me why just because a province has X number of expats living there the province needs more MP's.....
  12. And he will still own it legally as it romps around the neighborhood on a leash.....maybe the owner might want to look at what happened to Roy of Siegfried and Roy.... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.rd.com/article/siegfried-and-roy-tiger-attack/&ved=2ahUKEwipqPbl4L_9AhWEILcAHb63AfoQFnoECA0QAQ&usg=AOvVaw2ctx2bWKaNk5VISmiHk1Z6
  13. As it should be. Non Thais obtain nothing truly of value from this country since the majority of us are just here on long stay visas as far as the government is concerned.
  14. So now they are renters with a different sticker. I call troll now...The owners of the units are already paying the CAMO fees so it's being payed for. Your not paying fir the Whole Condo job are you..... Adios Cricky.
  15. How are they stealing, remind me again if they and everyone else pays CAMO fees. They are paying for it already in one way or another.
  16. Start at the top and follow the trail.....
  17. Then why whine and moan so much about it. I had wanted to buy an EV but the juristic would not allow me to have my own private stall to park in with my own metered EV charger installed. Our condos parking structure is 10 floors and first come first serve even though I am allowed two based upon having a penthouse, but no assigned parking. Each floor in the garage also has a bathroom for use. A neighbor who travels back and forth uses a trickle charger for his cars battery while he is gone....no one has ever complained. I have a house in PKK where we also live. Nice to have a place still in BKK when we visit and my visiting family can stay at.
  18. If and when are synonymous. The correction is coming.
  19. Distorted is a little far fetched. We're not talking charging an EV car system here.
  20. Your already paying for it...with your CAMO fee, all of the whole Condominium owners are. Your hilarious.
  21. What about the showers that your condo has in the common area near the gym like mine does. Should people be charged to use the bathroom and the showers after working out, and since we are on the subject what about those that swim and use the showers before and after should they pay a fee as well. You better check your condominiums CAMO Fee report and see what it pays for. We get the updates at the owners meetings, and then they post where the expenses are going on a main bulletin board. Each unit in our condominium pays a different amount into the CAMO fund based upon how many SqM the units have. We also decided to not have the Air Conditioning running through the system for the common areas on all of the floors in order to save money which could be used elsewhere. If your a renter and your complaining about folks using electricity outside of there units then your barking up the wrong tree. I guess you would have a field day with the holiday decorations and lights being plugged into the power grid as well......cheap charlies.
  22. Especially when things get hidden from view and the truth of the issues never arise, not talking conspiracy here, just the real world of Thailand. Yet Reuters has a report which says what we are seeing as well. https://www.reuters.com/markets/asia/thai-economy-seen-growing-3-4-this-year-inflation-fall-cbank-2023-02-28/ "Southeast Asia's second-largest economy grew 2.6% in 2022, less than expected but is now gathering steam as tourism rebounds, helped by the return of Chinese visitors. The BOT expects 25.5 million foreign arrivals this year, compared with nearly 40 million in pre-pandemic 2019. Exports, another key driver of growth, however, were seen rising just 1% this year, with a possible contraction ahead, the BOT said, blaming the global economic slowdown. In January, the economy improved from December, helped by improved service sector activities and government stimulus measures, the BOT said in a separate statement. But exports fell 3.4% in January from a year earlier and could see another year-on-year drop in February, Assistant Governor Chayawadee Chai-Anant told a news conference on Tuesday." Look at the highlighted and underlined section above. If tourism stagnates then all bets are off and it appears stagnation is in the cards looking at increasing prices for air fares etc....
  23. It's all over the internet that he was a Major https://coconuts.co/bangkok/news/autopsy-conducted-on-us-soldier-found-dead-in-lopburi/ Maj. Andrew Cotter, an officer with an army artillery unit in Thailand for an annual joint military exercise, was found dead in a bathtub this week with a wound to his head at the 31st Infantry Regiment in Lopburi city. https://komonews.com/news/local/joint-base-lewis-mcchord-solider-dies-during-assignment-in-thailand-cobra-gold-bangkok Maj. Andrew Cotter had been participating in Cobra Gold, a training and coordination exercise with the United States and host Thailand joined by five major Asian allies, with additional participation by 23 other countries. More than 7,000 military personnel are taking part. Cotter served as operations officer for the 17th Field Artillery Thunderbolt Brigade in the army's I Corps, said a statement issued from where the unit is normally stationed, Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State. It said he was found unresponsive in the central Thai city of Lopburi, one of the sites for the exercise, and confirmed dead on Tuesday.
  24. Why not, the CAMO fees pay for the common areas. I use my condos Gym, run on the treadmill and run the AC while I am in there, are you saying I shouldn't? It's a rhetorical question. I saw your post the same way....
