I spent a hour in my branch making an Internatiol transfer (Outward Remittance) remainng very patient throughout. The employee called Bangkok and then told me she had to have a copy of my (Thai) wife's British Passport because the transfer was to a UK joint account.
I had to leave, drive home, get the PP and return at which point it was lunchtime. My previous 'teller' had handed over to another who had to go through all the paperwork again including ringing the Bangkok head office before completing the transaction which took anotner 28 minutes with multiple interruptions.
Using the now redundant PC version I could do this myself in minutes.
With a queue of other customers behind me wondering why the 'farang' was taking so long, I left and tried to setup the Mobile app NEXT at home but without luck.
Clearly another visit in order. ๐
