Following three on line rejections citing incorrect arrival date and incorrect renewal date, despite being 100% correct we went into the office in Soi 5 today to find out what is going on. Several other ex pats were also in the Que doing 90 day reports having also been refused on line, the girl on the front desk knows the problem and took us through to see one of the top officers and here is the story: The system has been 'updated' and will now only approve 90 day applications from people who have recently arrived by air from overseas. I can only guess the data base is being built from arrival computers at airports. It all sounds pretty strange but that is the information straight from one of the top officers. Notwithstanding the above she also said 90 day applications should be made no later than 15 days in advance.
