Going home gives them a basically free place to stay and less expensive rural life.

So the above comment would suggest 27 of the 30 latest cases were Thais.... And of the other 3, no distinctions between China/Japan/Korea vs western foreigners.

That's actually a fact. If she fails to comply, she will be deported. The New Zealand Government is actively monitoring the behavior of tourists who fall into this category.
