So what? 43? Statistically insignificant. The virus dies in the Tropics...

You might like to reveal your medical qualifications and why you think Thai statistics are factual.

The World Health Organization says the virus 'has spread to countries with both hot and humid climates, as well as cold and dry'

Well, if Thailand were to ban tourists from certain countries, they should be fair and ban the top 10 most risky countries. All these have more than 100 cases.

    1. China (including HK, Macau)

    2. Korea

    3. Italy

    4. Iran

    5. Japan

    6. France

    7. Germany

    8. Spain

    9. USA

    10. Singapore

    What goes around comes around.

A gay Italian vlogger was denied access to India at the end of February so he came to Thailand. I wouldn't be surprised if he is the 29 year old Italian tourist diagnosed with the virus on 1 March

The Thai Authorities are totally irresponsible.

    I miss Donald Trump's way...

Anyway. Just wait a little bit... And the good doctor will end in History's garbage bin.

Branded for ever as liar, lazy, paranoid, small bureaucrat, obsessive etc.

Along with a solid dose of lost face.

Compare what is being warned by a medical specialist in the United States with what the Thai Authorities are saying. There is a major credibility gap in Thailand.

It's more then 5 weeks from now, all the Chinese will be back by then.

A vaccine discovered today will take 12 months of testing before it will be available for distribution.

According to the WHO the mortality rate is now running at 3.4%. This is the same rate as the Spanish Flu Epidemic of 1918. That killed 50 million. The mortality rate of ordinary flu is less than 1%. Songkran will really get this thing going.

Thailand leads the world for road fatalities and drownings.

Why should public health be any different. The country is quite literally run by.....

We're just learning that Iran is among the few countries that's honest about the #coronavirus. Regional countries with major airports & large tourist numbers are heavily affected. It's creating an economic crisis with less impact on Iran (ironically) due to the illegal sanctions.

Soon they will realise that the virus doesn't transmit easily in hot countries like Thailand.

Second phase transmission is minimal and will get less as the hot season comes.

It will not get out of control.

To hit their tourist number targets they need to.....    erm too late.

Fake News. The World Health Organisation has advised that Coronavirus is spreading in all climates. Songkran should get the ball rolling.

  7. What is the worldly religion of the Thai? Huckstering. What is his worldly God? Money.…. Money is the jealous god of Thailand, in face of which no other god may exist. Money degrades all the gods of man – and turns them into commodities…. The bill of exchange is the real god of the Thai. His god is only an illusory bill of exchange…. The chimerical nationality of the Thai is the nationality of the merchant, of the man of money in general.

Amended with apologies to Karl Marx
