  1. Its not a bad drop actually and never seems to give me a hang over
  2. Might even go down the Thai passport office with my missus and try to apply for it ourselves. I have signed Tabien Baan and ID from his mother and my legitimacy papers so maybe able to bluff our way through. Similar thing happened when getting his ID this year they just assumed the woman I was with was his mother. I often have them mistake my legitimacy papers.....official court documents / Amphur registration as custody documents. Plan A give it a whirl with what we have and act dumb....plan B act even more dumb and tell them his mothers been gone 6 years and have no contact. The mother may well actually be uncontactable for all I know. At least they will be able to advise the next steps or what they require. Someone told me a letter from a Lawyer stating they have tried all avenues to contact her but wasn't a great source.
  3. That was the deal going to Australia I believe too. Even though he is an Australian citizen, if he entered on a Thai passport even once he was within Australia he would be considered Thai. Doesn't really make sense to me. It's not like they could / would deport you. I thought Thailand may have been different. As an Australian he would enter Thailand visa exempt, but of course would still show an entry stamp in his passport. I was under the assumption you weren't actually supposed to have two passports after a certain age? even though people do.
  4. It is in the title he is born in Thailand. That makes him a Thai citizen right?
  5. First night me and wife had half, about an hour before going to bed. Sleep still sketchy and zero effect (woke up go for a pee a couple of hours later) last night both took a whole one 2 hours before bed. Same result. Total rubbish. The woman sold them to us made a point of saying you need to keep them in the fridge or they will lose potency....if they ever had any. But who knows in Thailand. Could be fakes or could have been sitting around in the sun waiting to be unloaded. I received a bag the other day with a courier, bag was nearly too hot to touch just sitting in the back of the truck. Can't be good for any medicine or food stuff
  6. Am aware of issues leaving country without mothers permission. Passport hurdle number one. He has Thai ID and birth certificate and I have been through the court legitimacy process. All done and registered. What do you mean he'd have no proof he was legally a Thai citizen? He's got heaps
  7. Thinking of taking my son to Australia. he is born in Thailand but an Australian citizen. I can get an Aussie passport for him relatively painless but a Thai passport is going to be a drama as his mother is missing in action and has been for some time. I can probably get custody and all that but will be inconvenient in the immediate future. I was just wondering if he re entered Thailand on an Aussie Passport, and not needing a Thai visa because Aussies don't....once he is back on Thai soil is he good to go? I was kind of thinking if he entered on an Aussie passport he would need to get a visa at some point as an Aussie to live full time in Thailand. Would prefer to hear from Aussie's who have entered here with kids maybe on an Aussie passport if possible. Telling me what happens in your / another country has no relevance to this
  8. Well, I tried the gummies last night. Had half each. Didn't feel a thing and I am only a casual smoker. Slept ok but pretty much same as normal and up at 4am again ????
  9. I actually got some gummies while I was out. Not sure if good or not brand called Trollies. 10mg. Doesn't say anything about THC. Is one enough to give you a decent sleep? Under the sticker someone in Thailand has put, it says THC 600mg. I assume for the whole pack of 12 x 10mg = 50mg THC per gummy. That sounds like a lot? Do they just make you feel sleepy or off your chops lol? I do note they are in a pack looks exactly the same as a packet of gummy bears for kids. No way would they ever be allowed in any other country. If a small child (or even an adult?) took the whole lot in one go thinking they were Candy probably lethal?
  10. I saw some comments in another post about CBD oil and information was a bit unclear on what strength (milligrams?) you need to order for a good night sleep. I have heard people say you put one drop on your tongue before bed. There were also comments that it was available on Lazada. Can anyone point me in the right direction and maybe some more info on a good brand / strength? There is a little weed shop / kiosk near home I was wondering if those sort of shops sell it
  11. I always buy Sandisk from a reputable shop like Banana IT so they are genuine. I don't buy the really expensive ones though as I was told they are no better re reliability etc... Only faster. Not sure if true or not. They usually for no apparent reason start coming up with errors. Often still have a chance to get to the files and copy them somewhere else but often a total write off. Have used Windows repair tools and other recovery tools but never much use in my opinion
  12. That little SSD looks excellent. Do you know the name or series? They must have gotten a lot smaller. It would still be an electronic memory right? Not an actual disk drive
  13. Having continual problems with USB type Flash cards corrupting. Seems inevitable at some point they will crap out. I always have a back up so not the end of the world I guess but would a large SD card be more reliable? The one you would put in a camera. I would put it in a card reader and plug in USB. I have larger proper storage drives but have had trouble with them too and not really practical for travelling. Usually use 128gb and make sure I never fill more than 80%
  14. Thanks for all the help guys. Gonna try cbd oil. I'm outta here, getting too many notifications lol. Thanks again
  15. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor? The same doctor sent her home with hand full's of Benzos and no instruction or warnings on use or addictiveness of the drug? Or the same pharmacist gave her 100 Anti depressant pills (to help sleep) yesterday that would have definitely clashed with her meds and wouldn't have worked anyway. Didn't even have the name of the meds or mg on the pack. I would rather check myself on Google
  16. Very widely used allergy / sleeping pill available at any pharmacy. As the other guy said 20 baht per 100. Totally legal
  17. Any chance you can be so kind as to PM me a link bro? If you have ordered it before and tried and true would be better than me buying off someone blind. few of my friends reckon it is the best sleep they ever had
  18. That's the ones, same name on my bottle. Do you feel under the weather next day?
  19. Yeah that's right. Very common here. I actually tried them for allergies and several people told me Thais take them for sleep. They do remind me of the old antihistamines we used to get in the 70's, 80's which I think were Pseudoephedrine based, although I would have thought they were outlawed these days as they are in most countries? The side effects re drowsiness are the same too. And it is an unpleasant drowsiness too, and as you said a sleep but you feel like you need another sleep the whole of the next day
  20. A lot of those things highly addictive and can be disastrous mixed with other drugs or even on their own. Most of them aren't even really for sleep...more anxiety or depression. Thais are totally irresponsible with meds....don't ask questions or google stuff like we do. And from what I have seen lately the doctors / pharmacies aren't a lot better. Causing issues with farang one thing but can only imagine Thai's taking this stuff with disastrous results and probably not even questioning if it is the pills making them feel psychotic or depressed, and in fact would probably blindly take more to ease the increasing problem
  21. CBD oil is oil, you take drops of it on your tongue, you don't smoke it
  22. Why would you ask so many personal questions, assuming your are not a doctor. I think I was very specific. If you don't know, better to move on than post a bunch of rhetorical unhelpful stuff .....trying to appear that you are "in the know"
  23. What is the deal with CBD oil these days? Do you have to go to a special clinic or can any doctor prescribe it? Or do you in fact even need a prescription. Many thanks
