Did you read the bit where I said I also have a USB mouse and doing the same thing. Original mouse bluetooth mouse. I may have been unclear about that. I understand usually mouse problems batteries or mouse itself....but as I have and have tried my normal Huawei bluetooth mouse, and other Logitech USB mouse and both same issue
-
Having an ongoing issue with my mouse. Later model Huawei computer, bluetooth mouse that came with the machine. Has happened before but always seemed like it was because of a Windows / Huawei problem. Wait for a system update...restart and everything ok again. In the meantime would use another USB / Wireless mouse. This time the USB mouse doing the same thing. Mouse movement and everything ok, but an erratic left click action....like it is double clicking on a single click. Really annoying. I have gone into system settings and can adjust mouse click speed but doesn't really help much if at all. The computer mouse pad is ok if I use that. Anyone have any ideas or possible remedies?

I doubt they take wear and tear on their bike into account when weighing up their income either -

And besides....and besides....and besides.....seeing the original post was about whether or not an odometer can be wound back / adjusted...and you have turned it into a smarty pants competition pondering the meaning of life, navel gazing the definition of "thrashed" ... you may be the one struggling with comprehension. You are just trolling for a debate -

I usually like to change my oil every 5000 as 5000kms for us could be 1-2 years. Often have to insist they change the oil and watch themdo it. They always say oil still ok lol -

You have obviously never ridden a village bike lol ???? Dirty / unchanged oil would be the worst culprit....particularly in the first 10-20,000ks of the bikes life. When the bike is new and running in. Oil gets full of tiny metal particles from the pistons / cylinders settling in and makes the oil abrasive on all components including crank bearings. None of these things including brakes are expensive to fix mind you...but thrashed can mean just general wear and tear...ripped seats...faded paint / plastic. Missing mirrors...damage here and there. All makes for an unenjoyable and unsafe ride. Oh and as for can't rev fast enough, guess again. Not sure what they do to them to make them hotter but have had 110-125 Waves, Scooters whizz past me on motorways doing 120km + -
Buying used bike in Thailand....odometer

Bit of an oxymoron in my case as I consider low km 1000-5000km or close......and that's exactly why. At this sort of low mileage lack of maintenance isn't that big an issue. What I am mainly looking for in this scenario is signs that the bike has been mistreated, left outside, prior accidents etc or evidence of higher mileage than stated.....and of course proof vehicle is not encumbered and owner genuine. If everything looks ok pretty hard to go wrong. Reason my question on the mileage / odometer....most of the used bikes on FB either old clappers or ridiculous price. There are quite a few smaller dealers around sell decent / low mileage used / close to new bikes for decent prices. I assume they get their stock from repo auctions etc. If anyone would be able to alter mileage these guys would know how to do it. Have bought 2 bikes off dealerships like this and both were good bikes at a good price. Not as easy as you would think to buy a decent used bike here privately. I guess because people buy them, use them every day and have no reason to get rid of them unless they are clapped or going to buy a new one. Most I see advertised privately around 2010-2016 with 60000km plus. Mrs did actually check on new bike prices and the interest rates are abhorrent but no deposit needed...only ID card (so they say) and 2-4 year payment plans of around 2000-4000 a month for say a 60k new bike. I guess it means anyone here can buy a bike but calculated over 4 years a 60k bike would cost you 100k+ -

Well looks like I got a practically new bike under warranty but I have had 5 bikes here all low k's and used. Always checked the obvious signs for trouble, made sure the bike was serviced regularly and never had one problem, even a small problem. -
Pretty sure I know the answer but just wondering in Thailand if it is possible to have someone's name on the vehicle book yet be owned (property rights) by the person who paid for the vehicle? In my country vehicle registration isn't always proof of ownership. The person who actually bought and paid for the vehicle is the owner.

I would consider 30000 k's too many kms for me anyway. Looking for something at least half that. Not sure if true or not but my understand the Honda Wave type bikes are pretty much bulletproof and in any case easy and cheap to fix. The Click / Scoopy / Filano style bikes different engine, drive train (Auto) and set up and the life of these bikes much less. As for most of these bikes only around town and low clicks....seeing many where I live up country 2016-2018 with 50-70k kms on them. And great they are still going but have to be near or at the end of their life. We racked up 30000 km's on the Wave we just sold in 3 years and that was with Mrs just going to work and pottering around town. -

I'm in Khon Kaen bro, no where near Sukhothai but thanks -
Looking for a scooter for the wife...just a run around. Seen some good ones many with unusually low km's which is what I want. Some even from dealers. Say 2016-18 with under 12000ks for 22-25k. Obviously will look for other wear and tear indicating the bike has travelled further than what ODO shows without jumping in. One dealer in particular I was looking at looks like all their bikes under or around 12000k's. Pretty sure digital odometers can't be altered unless another instrument panel added but what about the analogue style odo's where the wheels rotate around?

My missus went 2 or 3 months ago. She was sending me prices and photos of used products to sell and prices seemed high and stock very poor / dirty. You would get better goods / prices on FB marketplace. She was there 2 days and said she went all over the markets. Any local people she spoke to said the place hasn't recovered since covid and prices now were retail or more for used goods. My missus pretty dozy so she might have missed something but I get the feeling you need to find the right person / seller with good stock and prices...develop a relationship and after can even order remotely from them. Most of the sellers she spoke to were fairly aggressive. Stock was all over the place and they weren't helpful in showing her anything. If they did show her something they expected her to buy it. We do know a couple of people buy there (but not well enough for them to divulge their suppliers) and they seem to buy decent stuff at very good prices. But I think its a buy a bag of stuff...A, B or C grade at the corresponding price...so high level of trust required. You would get some winners and losers I imagine so the price would have to be low enough to throw a percentage in the bin

My friend married to a teacher and he gets free private healthcare but strangely immigration wouldn't accept it as health insurance for his retirement visa -

I haven't been in too many cabs where the seatbelts were actually working, if there were even seatbelts in the back. Another all talk no action statement claiming kudos for something not done yet, never will be enforced. Never followed up and forgotten about in 2 weeks. I must see 100 motorcycles a day with no helmets and if they do usually a kiddies pink bicycle helmet with the chin strap undone. Its the thought that counts ???????? -

Not a registered / proper marriage wife. If you are married to a Thai woman and living here...even though she isn't receiving benefits or working you lose about 15% of your pension....just because you are married. the thinking is there are two of you living together and share expenses. Not the case with a Thai woman though as she probably wont be working and wont be receiving a pension. The whole thinking on that sucks. Even if you were with an Australian woman and she was working or also on a pension why should it be reduced? And from my research yes you can go back at 65yo....the pension requirement only requires you are an Australian resident for 2 years before your pension is portable. You don't have to be on the pension and in Australia for 2 years. I know a few guys who have either done that or waited in Australia until they turned 67 before coming to live in Thailand...with their pension ????

I don't think anyone will stand up anywhere. We are all so numbed out with the little giggle box in our hands (Smartphone) we just accept it and watch the world go by. I think we have already lived trough the best times this world will ever see. Seems like we are on a slippery slope and race to the bottom now

Yeah our pension age is 67 and probably rising, You will drop dead on your feet at work. We have to pay mandatory superannuation....have done for the last 30 odd years. Good idea I guess but all designed around lessening pensions. Comes out of our pay every month. The government has been talking like it is also theirs to manipulate and dictate lately. Been watching a special on Netflix about 9/11, war on terror etc and the money that was thrown away...billions unaccounted for and usually spread around to corrupt governments with no return. Multi million dollar bases and structure built and never used. It is a disgrace

Can you store gasolene in a 5 liter oil container?

Hahahaha ???? Just be careful. If its not the right plastic it will be slowly dissolving into your fuel and will really mess your machines up
