  1. That's all you have? It's a quote from the linked Axios article, which is using the Federal Reserve economic data.
  2. It seems you missed this part from the quote! "The pre-pandemic all-time low was also significantly higher than this, at 5.3% in August 2019."
  3. Keep updated! By the numbers: The rate peaked at 16.8% in May 2020, and since then has fallen by an astonishing 12.1 percentage points to 4.7% now (though the decline was driven, in part, by a drop in labor force participation among Black workers). The pre-pandemic all-time low was also significantly higher than this, at 5.3% in August 2019. Another all-time low: the gap between Black and white unemployment. It's now 1.6 percentage points, down from 5.4 points in August 2020 and 12.1 points in January 1983. https://www.axios.com/2023/05/05/unemployment-rate-milestone-black-americans NB the graph also shows the origin of the trend which led to the previous growth in 2019.
  4. More fun! Donald Trump has found another enemy, and this one might be his most mysterious choice of villain yet.The former president fired off an all-caps post on his flailing Truth Social website attacking many of his usual suspects, including “the radical left” and “marxists & communists.” But this rant also included a new target: Mutants ???? https://news.yahoo.com/trump-names-baffling-enemy-latest-060256283.html
  5. As far as I understand, the new Senators will be selected by selection committees, committees which will be selected by the EC. Coming full circle as usual.
  6. It applies quite well to Fox News, including this article which is trying to divert attention from the real news.
  7. It's more significant than it seems. These people have legal advisors. They would be more cautious if their advisors hadn't told them that Trump is very likely going to be convicted.
  8. Exactly. Same for the MAL warrant. However, the level of classification marking for each document is quite relevant as it designates how sensitive certain information is.
  9. There is no EU President. It's not a federal State and it's not a Presidential regime.
  10. However, in Presidential systems (I mean when the President has a significant executive power), it makes sense that the President receives this power directly from the voters.
  11. What they agree on: - Democrat: It's a damning indictment - Republican: It's a damning indictment, but (choose between Biden, Clinton, weaponization, no real damage done, first time President indicted, etc...)
  12. I don't disagree that others should also have been investigated, in particular about the WMD lie. About your last point, Trump would have disagreed with you in 2018, as he felt necessary to strengthen the law about it. https://www.businessinsider.com/law-trump-signed-2018-may-punish-him-classified-info-2022-8?r=US&IR=T
  13. Petulant and unnecessary! That's all? Nothing about the big lie?
  14. Actually Trump initially thought he would lose the 2016 elections, so he started to claim they were rigged. Edit: He even claimed elections have been rigged after winning, as he was enraged that Hillary won the popular vote! ????
  15. That's the point. Trump understood that he could convince some people, who don't have much power and influence in their lives, to follow him, if he gives them dome power. Of course, he could not give them the real power. The swamp behind him (the Koch etc..) would not have let him do it (and it was not his intent, as he is only a conman). So he gave them only some limited negative power on other people they don't like (I.e. restrict freedom, culture, etc...). And they have gone addicted to it.
  16. Sure! When one compares Biden or Sunak to the brilliant minds who have been leading Thailand for the last 9 years....????
  17. Of course, "bought votes", "conned by western backed lackeys"! Why didn't i think of that before! ????
  18. Yet even Republican lawyers, such as Barr, consider it's a damning indictment
  19. It's been explained to you so many times that It's not worth spending time explaining again.
  20. Thank you for your valuable contribution!
  21. Latest statistics by the OECD: - UK GDP is still below pre-pandemic level (- 0.5%), but has been joined by Germany, - UK GDP growth forecast for 2023 is positive (0.3%). https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/sn02784/
  22. Unlike a former president, i's easy to check as he has publicised his tax returns for years. Nothing secret about it. Here: http://www.disclosures.org/joe-biden-financial-disclosures/ And the more recent ones here: https://www.whitehouse.gov/disclosures/tax-returns/
