  1. I remember it has been a popular claim among MAGA posters. Right after that, the popular claim was that the FBI seized irrelevant items such as napkins. I found it funny that the FBI had planted napkins.....
  2. That's one of the way Trump uses in order to make a statement when he knows he's lying. Other popular for relations are "people say" or "I've been told".
  3. Instructions received!
  4. Some posters will have to eat their hat about it, and other claims too.
  5. Not to miss: special counsel speaking soon on TV!
  6. The latest front page attributes a quite different face expression to Trump! ???? He has lost his previous Mussolinien expression! ????
  7. Surely not disappointed by the latest news! ????
  8. These documents are Presidential records. Whether classified or not, Trump has no right to keep Presidential records, as per the Presidential Record Act. As I replied to you before, It's not the FBI, It's the NARA which wanted them back. From a link kindly indicated by your pal Riclag: "The classification system is separate from criminal penalties that Congress has imposed to protect security secrets. For example, the Espionage Act of 1917 — one of the three laws cited in the search warrant of Mar-a-Lago in Florida — is designed to protect secrets related to defense information that could harm the U.S. or aid a foreign adversary. It makes no reference to materials’ classification status, and prosecutors in an Espionage Act case do not need to prove that materials were classified but rather that they were “closely held,” and their release could damage national security. The search warrant executed in August at Mar-a-Lago cited as “probable cause” violations of relevant parts of the Presidential Records Act, which does not carry criminal penalties, as well as three provisions of criminal law: a part of the Espionage Act that deals with the mishandling of “national defense information” (18 U.S.C. § 793); a records-related obstruction statute (18 U.S.C. § 1519); and a third that deals with the mishandling of public records (18 U.S.C. § 2071). None of the three criminal statutes deal with classified material per se. Penalties differ. The obstruction-related statute carries the strongest sentence of a fine and a maximum 20 years in jail for each offense." https://abalegalfactcheck.com/articles/declassified.html Capice?
  9. I love the current front page of Fox News website! ???? https://www.foxnews.com/
  10. I know! But I can't wait to have fun!
  11. I also guess that, if DeSantis or Pence are elected, they will surely enjoy the sight on Trump imploring them for a pardon! ????
  12. They will not nessarily defend him, but they will cautiously play the witch hunt card in order to remain GOP compliant.
  13. It's a (not really) private joke among non-Trumpers.
  14. Ahem! "Christians were about 10 percent of Syria's population of 21 million before the war began in 2011. Now, they account for about 5 percent, with fewer than 700,000 left, according to groups that track the persecution of Christians around the world." https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/23/world/middleeast/syria-christians-idlib.html#:~:text=Christians were about 10 percent,of Christians around the world.
  15. This thread is unusually quiet for such a news. It seems instructions have not been received yet.
  16. A good paper about possible penalties for Trump. The WE is pro-GOP, but not necessarily pro-Trump, so the article is rather reliable. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/justice/trump-faces-espionage-act-and-obstruction-charges
  17. He will make the same claim in a few hours, or days. He simply doesn't acknowledge any evidence which contradicts his claims.
  18. It seems you missed this information: The use of Section 793, which does not make reference to classified information, is understood to be a strategic decision by prosecutors that has been made to short-circuit Mr Trump’s ability to claim that he used his authority as president to declassify documents he removed from the White House and kept at his Palm Beach, Florida property long after his term expired on 20 January 2021. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-indictment-espionage-prosecution-charges-b2353397.html
  19. “I am an innocent man. I did nothing wrong,” Trump said in the video. ???????????? https://edition.cnn.com/2023/06/08/politics/trump-indictment-truth-social-classified-documents/index.html
  20. You started well until you claimed false equivalences between Thaksin and Trump.
  21. The Justice who doesn't know the law.... Gag! I know it is said that shoemakers are always the worst shod, but.... ahem!
  22. Well, if you are only looking for studies or statemengs which have been proven wrong, and ignore studies which have been proven roght, you can certainly find some. However, it has been shown that most past predictions have been rather accurate as concerns global warming. (I mean scientific prediction, not someone making a statement). Evaluating the Performance of Past Climate Model Projections "Model simulations published between 1970 and 2007 were skillful in projecting future global mean surface warming" https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/2019GL085378 Not to mention the fact that these models have been improved over time.
