I've lived here for 16 years and never paid tax on my 3 pensions here because untill recently I knew nothing about it, Immigration have never said anything to me about this at any of my extensions, tax office here told me "if you pay tax in the UK you won't pay tax here" do they know what they are talking about?

If I'm forced to pay tax on my UK pensions which I already pay tax on in the UK will I get a Social Security card giving me access to free Healthcare here? Have I got untill Jan to March of 2025 to file a tax return once I get a Tax Identification number? Has this come out yet or is it all hearsay at the moment?

Regarding my 3 pensions from the UK, I pay tax on all 3 in the UK, will I be required to now pay tax again on my Pensions here, I have not paid tax here in the 16 years of being here, a simple answer would be appreciated if anyone knows the answer, I am Completely confused with this thread.

The Colonoscopy is the only test I have not had, I am convinced this test will reveal what my problem is, untill I have had this I can't think about anything else, I'm quoting Bindi Irwin(Australia) who had 10 years of Abdominal pain, she had every test possible and nothing was found, eventually someone mentioned to her to explore Endometriosis, they found that was her problem she is now better. I mentioned this to the doctor, he dismissed it straight away, rare in Men but men can suffer from it, anyway untill I have had the Colonoscopy I can't think about anything else.

I'm waiting for the tests to be done, after so long and so many tests with nothing found it plays on your mind. I've had Blood test, EKG, X Ray blood pressure again all normal, just wish something would be found.

Endoscopy and Colonoscopy are treated as day surgery so okay, CT Scan they don't normally cover as OP but in this case they have for some reason. They have not covered CT Scan before, don't know why they have this time.

I don't know, sometimes I think its worry and stress related as I worry just about everything.

Yes OP but you need someone with you as they say you should not drive for at least a few hours after, I suppose you could go in Patient if you want to pay extra.

My quote for CT scan, Colonoscopy and Endoscopy is 87,000 to 125,000 depending on biopsy and analysis

Can I request a Colonoscopy on its own, the Hospital want to give me a CT Scan and Endoscopy both which I have had in the last approx 2 years, approx 5 CT Scans all clear, Endoscopy 1 1/2 years ago nothing found, I have had every test Blood tests, Urine tests, stool test, EKG approx 5 in the last 2 years all clear, can I now just ask for the Colonoscopy, yesterday I had chest x Ray, blood test, EKG nothing found. This is to do with my Abdominal pain which I have had for approx 2 1/2 years. Doctor days "we have to do again to check" everytime I have had tests it's the same "we have to do again" It's so expensive here.

Reading the comments in this thread it's hard to imagine "don't worry" I'm not well and getting worse everytime I read something about staying in Thailand, I went to my tax office, he said "if you pay tax in your own country you don't have to pay tax here" I left even more worried!

What is ASX dividend payments?? I renewed my extension in Oct no problem renewing. Why is this so complicated my head is spinning with worry, what do I do?

Is this all up in the air or is it 100% certain I and many others will be expected to pay tax on their pensions, in my case from the UK. My local tax office said you choose where you pay tax here or your home country, I pay tax on all 3 of my pensions in the UK. Yes I am a very big worrier, I want to do the right thing and avoid any problems.

It's very very busy and nothing like a private Hospital, I've been and didn't enjoy the experience at all.

I've been to Vachira and it is a nightmare place, I would never want to go back there.

Yea thought that, the seat is okay but could be more comfortable, I'll see how it goes on my Jan trip.

Has anyone changed the seat for an aftermarket one if so is it better than the stock seat. Seat is okay for local travel but I'm sure on a long run it will be very uncomfortable, the ADV350 seat looks alot better, will ask at Honda if the ADV seat will fit the Forza but I think it is different. I'll be doing a 2500km trip this coming January so let's see how that goes, I met a man recently who was having the same problem, his bike had done over 25,000kms. I've only done just under 2,000kms it's great so far.
