Update on My Tramadol dependacy, Within the next few days I will be cutting down to just one 50mg Tramadol, still in no great hurry but hopefully within a couple of weeks I will be Tramadol free. My original pain which was extremely bad(years ago now) was stopped by taking Tramadol( I was originally taking 1 50mg tablet every 6 hours) so I have nothing but good things to say about it. I didn't take any notice of friends saying "be careful as it can be addictive" hopefully an end is now in sight.

I'm keeping it.

I tried to get information at my local tax office, I told them "I pay tax in my country on my 3 small pensions" they replied " do you want to pay tax here, if you pay tax already dont pay tax here" It will be a nightmare if this becomes law.

I am I want to stop taking Tramadol 100% the trouble is, withdrawel pain is so bad I can't see how I am going to do it. I have now switched from Tramadol Capsules 50mg to Ultracet which is 37.5mg's plus paracetemol. If I can take something that will make the withdrawal pain bearable I wouldent have a problem. Can I get something from a Pharmacy to take once I tottaly stop the Ultracet which will make the withdrawal pain manageable. I never wanted to take a painkiller, I have always been scared of pain to the point I would do anything to stop it hence my problem. I am trying my best to reduce, I cannot see how I am ever going g to beat this, I have tried but the withdrawal pain is so bad I take tramadol again. Can I get medication to stop withdrawal, surely in this day and age there is something, I have read about Buprenorphine is this available in Thailand. If I can't find a way to cope with withdrawal I will just keep taking Tramadol This will be my last comment, thanks for all comments, it's good to be able to open up even if it is to an Internet forum audience.

I did reduce the Tramadol from 4 to 3 capsules a while back.

Thanks, I'll cope my way, from taking 4 50 mg (24 hours, 1 every 6 hours) tramadol over the last 4 years I have now stopped the 50mg Tramadol capsules, instead I am using Ultracet 3 times in a 24hour period, I have reduced my Tramadol intake from 200mg to 112.5mg, I think I am doing okay, I will continue reducing over time.

Think I'm fine, I'm on 3 50mg over a 24hr period, I'm going to change 1 tablet to the Ultracet which will lessen my intake, as I've said before I'm taking it slowly slowly.

If you post in the forums expect 1 maybe more to be a nob.

I can't imagine the real pain is still there after 4 yrs, I don't know and won't know untill I stop the Tramadol, interesting situation though. I'm going very slowly, I'm down to taking 3 tablets over 24 hrs from 4 tablets over 24hrs, I'm not in a hurry.

I either quit suddenly and go through withdrawel,no thanks to that, or take it slowly reducing which I'm doing. I do need to get advice on how I can reduce the symptoms of withdrawel, I'm doing okay at the moment. Thanks for your comments.
