  1. It cost 1900 for a retirement extension... Then... If you want multi entry, need to pay 3800 and they add multi entry stamp..
  2. From my experience, at Jomtien, the checks are very very thorough. Even though, I leave in excess of 800k in that account, all year.. They look at all the transactions ,all year... Very closely..
  3. Where is Flowers, to help this guy.. He thinks he knows all about bars and all the important people, he's a genius, surely he can help to sort this out..
  4. I used the combination method for a few years... I'm from NZ, my pension was only about 40,000baht month.. So I also had to go to NZ embassy and get a letter to verify my income From NZ pension. I kept over 400,000 baht in my BKK bank. After several years... I found this a major problem, trying to renew extension each year.. So now, I just keep 800,000+ in the account, at ALL times.. It makes life much much. Easier.
  5. You need to update a copy of your visa, each year..
  6. I second what you say. Dr Jack has given the correct answer, several times.. It's very simple and clear.. Others are trying to twist it..
  7. I recently got rejected by air asia on my flight Bkk to Chiaddng mai.. I showed my thai drivers licience ,which has my passport no.etc. I also showed a photocopy of my passport and visa.. They would not check my in. I was so utterly disgusted and <deleted> off...i just gave up.. My friend checked in with his passport.. Disgraceful effort by zombie staff..

If i shut windows and glass doors, i hear nothing from outside...im level 24...

  11. My 800k+ has always been in an interest bearing account. The money is still accessable at any time..i seriously doubt if immigration cares or even knows, ehat type of account the money is in
  12. At jomtien, its 90 days from the day you report,if going in person.....so...if you report 5 days early ,you loose 5 days.. No point in going too many days early.. Last time at jomtien...i was only there 5 minutes...
  13. Same same.. I now live here, and none of my visitors from overseas, have ever been asked to show 20,000thb
  14. You are correctly pointing out the two different requirements..
  15. Maybe it is slow getting a yearly statement, but in ALL other respects, I find BKK bank excellent, over 6years
  16. I don't need to put on a g string, I go there regularly. Saw an older man once, wearing g string.. It's mostly Thai people and Russians, pre the war..
  17. DOngtan beach is referred to as gay?? But I have been going there for years, never seen anything gay going on. It's very very nice area. The road goes all the way along to pratumnak soi 5, now.. I live at cosy beach.
