I would like to spend a relaxing weekend at home away from the hustles & bustles of this dreaded non caring society We all have days we need to be ALONE I will be turning on the Air conditioning,locking the doors , turning out the lights , eating my chocolate, crisps and ice cream AND Watching re-runs of THAT GIRL - a 1970's American comedy with Phil Donahue wife NORTHERN EXPOSURE,set in Alaska ALICE was set in a diner SIMON & SIMON HART to HART ROCKFORD FILES Who loves the them to that ? I used to love Northern exposure and please if anyone doesn't know it it was set in Alaska of all places !!! I cried in the 1990's watching this ,Always home every Thursday night at 730pm to watch it I have written to the doctor in the series to ask him to call me on WhatsApp Oh those were the days I love the theme of Northern exposure ,does anyone love tv themes ? I just seen on the news a protester holding a sign up about the Chinese vice president visit to Brisbane has been arrested by Chinese culture police in Australia because it could be racist No freedom of speech in this country anymore And the Police are to blame as they are "only taking orders" Reminds me of a few years ago in 2023 I'm walking thru a pedestrian mall very late at night coming home from work I see two old police officers being attacked by several teenagers probaly late 50's early 60's unfit ,pot bellies One cop is in a headlock by the teenager I'm standing there only metres away They are struggling but the cop looks up from his headlock to me "Can you help me ? He shouts The indigenous youth who has him in a headlock also looks at me I shout back " think of the positives from this I shout ..as he eyes are looking at me from the headlock position...."you will be able to medically retire !! As I could hear sirens in the background I walked off left them grappling each other on the ground

Oh shocking Unfortunately I'm a big City boy I don't like the country areas I drove out into the Country side of Australia a few years ago only to see dead kangaroos on the side of the road I stopped the car to call police and ambulance only to be abused by some country cop that arrived in a 4 wheel drive police car wearing a slouch hat telling me it's common practise for these poor animals to be killed by cars and trucks and I shouldn't of stopped !!!
