I am tempted to buy a Condo at least 1 bedroom for my future I was surprised today to see a News article and please whilst we talk about News as such whatever happened to the News Cafe in Jomtien but please don't go off topic . I saw today the Pattaya Mail about affected Thai owners in a big condo complaining of farang owners who have taken over the Strata committee and put the Fees UP "The condominium, which consists of 1,948 units across seven buildings, previously had a board comprised of nine members—five Thai and four foreign. However, all five Thai members have resigned, leaving the management solely in the hands of the foreign members, who have now proposed the fee increases without community consultation." Now I don't know the full story It's possible the Condo fees needed to go up But what I'm saying is the Condo fees need to be paid and I'm staying away from poorly maintained buildings eg Flybird How much are your Condo fees ?

There are many wheelchairs at the VT apartments I was outside a bar last night in Jomtien They had wheelchair parking I kid you not This is the bar on the main road that plays the live band What I did was walk over towards the parked MOTORISED wheelchairs / scooters so the old owners could see me and stare at them pretending I was going to jump on them and drive off

I went out last night in Pattaya and I always feel the beautiful "ambiance" in the atmosphere around me . I have discovered a new word "ambiance " if anyone wants to analyse that word And what I mean by that where I come from in Australia at that time of late night there would be drunken fights ,police sirens , aggressive people etc ,youths out of control , No ,"ambiance" So there's the difference, why oh why is people even young farangs so different when in Thailand Maybe in Phuket it's different ( bring a lot of younger farangs) But I feel safe ,I can walk out at 2am on a weekend morning and feel safe even in the farang areas and not even the young farangs are misbehaving If I walked in Australia at that time I would probably encounter someone trying to bump into me ,I would see police sirens , ambulance, drunken fights , etc etc Are younger generation here in Thailand brought up different from Western youth? Tell me the beautiful ambiance and yes we use that word again ,the ambiance of the night scenes compared to Australia or the UK on a early 2am weekend morning

You must live in a rural area in Australia Blood tests are free in Australia under Medicare ...I get one every month and never been questioned yet why. You must be paying "private" companies to test your blood? And ..where I live in Australia I use Medicare doctors which charge the Government not me . I go to a doctor in Australia every week (free under the taxpayer thankyou) and use the free Australian Government Sexual health hospital for all my check ups and get free medication from them

I can't believe the cost of seeing a Doctor here in Pattaya One (farang) doctor I saw here ,I was in his room 3 minutes before he said have a blood test Total cost 2400 baht ($110 Australian dollars) I could of seen a (paid) $40 doctor in Australia 3 times for that price or a free Medicare doctor. He said come back tommrrw for your results I went back ,nothing wrong, he said but then checked my blood pressure Your blood pressure is high but don't worry I can sell you Amlodipone at 800 baht for 30 caps 700 baht fee today they said on walking out to reception ,I was there 5 minutes plus your medication I said forget the medication!! I said I only came for the results you could of emailed me ! 300 baht to email results they said These doctors are charging Western rates Not even a doctor in Australia charges $110 for 5 minutes (2400b) I will stick with the free blood tests in Australia!! You wouldn't want to be sick here I'm going !!!
