    I would say the expats crowd in Bangkok is more professional types and they're retired they are the retired professional or wealthier expat You don't usually see the old retired farang shirtless with tatts on a walking stick in Bangkok

    Yes sadly everyone has forgotten selfishly about Old Ted the old lonely guy in the Flybird Condo For those following the saga which probably won't be many now as the thread gas been hijacked by people not concerned with Old Ted but I'm arranging his flights next week to the Philippines to Duamagette, hopefully he will meet a lovely Filipino lady

    There's so many Condos in this Jomtien area now The one I just stayed in was supposed to be 1 bedroom and it was 21sqm I couldn't swing a cat in there Guys please don't live in these You will be depressed You need a garden with flowers

    I agree ,these entitled Australian baby boomers had it so good. Retired on big Superannuation funds a lot of them. Never knew what hard work was And here's me struggling working for the Australian Government on a pittance !

    I can't understand why New Zealand doesn't have overseas old age pension like Australia??? So all you Kiwis over 67 getting the Old age pension can't leave to live overseas ???

    Yesterday I went to one called INTERNATIONAL gym and I found it by accident. I couldn't cross the road over to Tony's gym so kept walking down that Third Road. As I was walking I noticed a gym in a shophouse, all.old equipment,like a old school.gym 100 baht plus free water at this International gym
