  1. To the person who posted the "confused" emoji, tell me what confuses you and I'll see if I can help.
  2. I guess he didn't have the where with all to approach the slope at reduced speed while transporting a 40,000 pound load.
  3. Where I live on the shore of Lake Ontario in Canada, these "things" often swarm like a bunch of mosquitos. I've been a boater all my life but never owned, or had any appreciation for, a jet ski. Except for racing and wave jumping on the water, I see no pleasure or value to them. Many are just a menace.
  4. Making the best of a bad situation, I think the "half competent man" shows promise (for now anyway).
  5. All the cards are falling right into place, as per the plan, hatched long ago.
  6. Upon hearing the the details of the purse snatch, it wouldn't surprise me that the police knew immediately who to pay a visit to.
  7. I hope you have learned something from your ridiculous accusations against me in this thread. Had you read my original post accurately, without jumping the gun, you would have realized that at no point did I use the word MEDICAL. There were many secrets upon his return. I was not and DID NOT refer to MEDICAL secrets. In future, I suggest that you do not ASS UME or alter a statement to fit your own narrative. Doing so, so recklessly, is not constructive.
  8. I never said squawt about medical conditions. It was this other angry old man poster who brought up medical. That's his problem, not mine. Anybody following the return of Thaksin knows that there was many secrets about his return. People were left to guess about all the special treatment that he received .... and I'm not talking about MEDICAL ISSUES. I frankly don't care what his medical issues are .... if any. And as for your question about my medical condition, it's none of your business. But with that said, I'm proud to be 75 and on ZERO meds. No issues whatsoever. I can outwork any 40 year old and outperform them in other ways too. You and that other guy need to learn how to read and stop bringing forth this medical thing. I repeat, I never said anything about medical issues, but other people did. There are many secrets to the Thaksin fiasco besides medical. END
  9. VERY WELL STATED. Thank you.
  10. I don't have the time or interest to back-search for other members. It's all here in A N for you to do yourself.
  11. I guess you missed reading some of the many events since he returned. It's all been reported right here on AseanNow.
  12. Fair to say, his credibility has taken a beating, what with the secrecy and special treatment.
  13. I think it would be a wise idea to incorporate some kind of a self-raise device so that after it sinks, they can refloat it and try again. That's after it undergoes a 5 billion dollar renovation and refurbishment process. TIT.
  14. And should this swap proceed, Thailand will have acquired a $466,000,000 USD frigate (17 billion THB converted to USD = $466 million). That's a pretty high priced "boat". Where's the common sense in that?
  15. TAT are likely to count the 8,439 Thai workers returning home as tourist arrivals. Whatever it takes to pump the numbers!
  16. They never were needed. They were just over-priced toys, or a vehicle to move cash around (not literally).
  17. I purposely left the final disposition of backhander funds up to the individual reader's imagination.
  18. "Higher price tag" because now the BIG backhander has to be paid a second time. The sub backhander sank with the previous government.
  19. If that swindled money had been spread amongst the Thai citizens, millions, maybe tens of millions, would be lifted out of poverty. Instead, the greedy few have taken more than they would ever need to live on.
  20. "paying them to come". Isn't there already a lot of that happening with tourists in Thailand?
  21. This is a precursor to charging passenger tickets by weight. Any other explanation is BS.
  22. And "eats" panther.
  23. Small is beautiful. Tiny homes are the new trend (for some).
  24. From what I recall of pictures of Premchai a couple years ago, it appears like he has been fed well in prison. Or maybe family brought treats on visiting days.
  25. That "stuff" seems to affect the brain even more so than a couple bottles of vodka.
