Election Commissioners Face Removal Over Senatorial Election Fiasco
Srikcir replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
In addion to the Senate, EC needs to be 100% elected by the electorate, ie., through their elected ministers in the House. And the House needs subpoena power to not only hold the EC accountable but all the quasi-state organization such as the Anti-Corrption Commission. -
Teamsters’ Neutral Stance: A Blow to Harris and a Challenge for Trump
Srikcir replied to Social Media's topic in World News
NATFA was replaced by USMCA on 2020 by POTUS Trump. It didn't change Mexican and Canadian truckers from crossing the US border under NAFTA. Since the carrier nationality wasn't changed to solely US, it kept a status quo for US Union truckers. -

Teamsters’ Neutral Stance: A Blow to Harris and a Challenge for Trump
Srikcir replied to Social Media's topic in World News
It's a missed opportunity for the union to endorse Harris but not a blow if it also remains neutral with Trump. Regardless, its members have a right to vote for themselves in November and Harris can appeal directly to them. -
Truth social is the future! Buy now while it's on sale.
Srikcir replied to shdmn's topic in Political Soapbox
The only value of its stock is that Trump posts on it. The stock has run in the red every quarter. But Trump isn't obligated to post on Truth Social and in fact posts on X (Twitter). It's just another scam. And another instance of illegal activity through violation of SEC rules as a primary shareholder to publically boost its value. -
As soon as the submersible entered the water it violated its design. Oceanside and support ship captain knew that. A submersible must be permanently tethered to its support ship (aka Mothership) at all times in the water whereas a submarine doesn't need to be tethered. The Titan was never tethered putting it's passengers at immediate risk. And they died from that risk.

"President Biden was so nice." He also included Harris in their calls to Trump regarding the assassination in progress against Trump. Trump's rally audience in reaction booed Trump. I think they felt Trump betrayed MAGA. But Trump verted back to full MAGA cult immediately the following Monday accusing Biden and Harris of inciting violence against him "with their words." And continued eventually with disparaging Biden while calling Harris a Marxist, unintelligent, setting out to destroy the nation. A civil Trump is a myth.

American importers, then passed on to American distributors, then to the retailers, then to the American consumer who pays an even higher price as sales tax (ie., state, county and city each as taxation authorities) is added to the retail price. And as a reminder, POTUS Trump during his term eliminated as a deduction against federal income tax, the sales tax from nonfederal authorities.

Insurgent Bomb Attack in Bannang Sata Injures 4 Soldiers
Srikcir replied to Georgealbert's topic in Southern Thailand News
ISOC typically uses paid Thai civilians who are not part of Thailand's official armed forces to conduct military patrols in the South (similar to the Russian Wagner paramilitary) while Royal Thai regular army soldiers remain primarily on secure bases. As such and especially as peace talks continue to stall ever since the Prayut military coup in 2014, these piecemeal insurgent attacks against paramilitary have the effect essentially being tolerated by the military as the price to insure the safety of RTM soldiers while holding back any major insurrectionist victory. -

PM Paetongtarn Faces Threat with Impeachment Over Cabinet Pick
Srikcir replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Anticipated. The next month is on the political horizon for another "PM for the Month" club. And again without the inconvenience of a democratic electorate national vote. -
If one follows MAGA logic, if one is a socialist one is also simultaneously a fascist and communist. Just a jumble of political "word salad" to deflect ignorance of the MAGA cult.

Swift endorsement turns more voters from harris than it attracts…
Srikcir replied to riclag's topic in Political Soapbox
Ironically, Trump's horrified reaction to a billionaire young female getting more attention by her endorsement than Trump will cause him to go off the sanity guardrails (again) and cause more new voters for Harris. -

Thai Stocks Surge with New Government Policies: Investors Eye Mid-Caps
Srikcir replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Especially since government efforts to control thru drug prices comparisons has failed from PM's Prayut through Thavisin: Some private hospitals were reported to charge the prices of drugs 8000-16000% higher than the average prices. Private hospitals to display prices of drugs, says Thai Government - With the new measure, private hospitals, manufacturers, importers and wholesalers are required to report sales prices to the Department of Internal Trade. 2019 Private hospitals under fire as government cracks down on skyrocketing costs. The Internal Trade Department tightens control on private hospitals, urging them to play ball in the battle against soaring medical expenses. The govern ment demands transparency and cooperation from over 300 private medical institutions. 2023 Now no publication of price comparisons, price control actions, etc. I don't expect Paetongtarn will pursue private hospital drug pricing given the strength of Thai oligarch interests. -
False. Indoneasia is a representative democratic republic wherein the President is both Head of State and government and sustained through legislation by the electorate through free and fair election of their multi-party representatives. Singapore has a democratic parliamentary democratic system thriugh free and open election similar to Germany wherein the President is Head of State and the government and Cabinet is led by a Prime Minister as head of government. One need only look at the long-term stability and economic success of these two countries that shows they fair substantially better than their Southeast Asian undemocratic counterparts.
