i've said it a million times. falangs, get rid of your motorbike NOW!!! OK, it's the other person's fault!!! you are dead.
ok, saved your life. send me money.
I'm in my 60's. I started riding and joined a Motorcycle Club in the 70's, I still ride every day and have no intention of giving up any time soon. Thanks for the patronising anyway.
BTW, I'm not and I assume you're not "back home". I'm simply "at home" here.

Not a fan of American style wafer thin cuts. I haven't found any deli's around these parts, either. There's nothing wrong with good canned corned beef in a nice spicy hash, if calling it dog food makes you feel good then fine, if it was a feeble attempt at self-aggrandisement, I think Shania Twain has the answer.

Last week we went to the nearest small town to buy some duck food from a shop that was closed a few weeks ago because some of the family had Covid. The cocky young gob<deleted>e who "served" us stood just outside our car, maskless, talking to my wife through the open window. I was getting a bit angry about his selfishness and told him to pull his mask up, he did and laughed at being asked to, so I quite sternly told him "not funny" in Thai at which point he lost his smirk. There is a very high level of mask compliance around here but, as they say, there's always one.

"Log in to see prices." I'll pass on that then but thanks for the tip anyway.

FWIW I have read other posts on here about (Transfer)Wise so I gave them a try for the first time earlier this month. I should be kicking myself for not doing it sooner but I'm not overly keen on being kicked.

The "Big Joke" effect?
Thailand, where doing your job, occasionally is vinyl chart display time.
Begs the questions, what were you doing for the last 7 years? How good a job are you doing to begin with?
I think these pressers are for the bosses.
Quite. And how difficult would it be to "track down" the visa agents who offer extensions for people who don't meet the legal requirements when said agents openly advertise their dodgy services?

Seems we could finally get some movement....
Interesting that it quotes José as bring approached before appointing Carlo.
Following Ronaldo's statement it is clear he wants to leave. But there is also speculation of a return to Old Trafford. Looks like maybe we will get a striker merry-go-round to join the manager one we are experiencing.
It seems our striker options are reducing by the day. Lukaku and Haaland no, which leaves Kane (extremely unlikely IMO). If Icardi moves to Juve that's one less. Now we are into the realms of Belotti, Moreno Silva I guess.... Martinez possibly. Do I hear a shout for Toney???
Surely to similar to Tammy. Can't remember the last time we bought a topexperienced player from the Championship. I will discount Green and Shwarzer as they were at the end of their careers and bought purely as experienced backup's not first team players. Ron, I'm sure you can recall.
Personally I'd like to see Tammy given a decent chance. We appear to be in a strong position at the moment, European Champions and money in the bank. An interesting couple of months ahead!

Not new. I have been aware of this for many years. Just not often checked.
I think you may be confusing pre-application periods with the relatively new post application period requirements, which didn't exist 'many years' ago.

Did you not update your bankbook when you applied?
Yes, the local office had already checked and approved everything, this was a further check to see if I'd taken the balance below the threshold in the intervening time.

Hi, thanks in no small part to this esteemed forum we (should) all know about the requirements to keep funds in the bank for a certain period after application for & granting of extensions to stay. Having said that I don't recall seeing anyone mention having to prove that their balance hasn't dipped below the threshold during the under consideration period, however that is exactly what happened to me yesterday.
I applied for an extension based on marriage a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday Mrs BM was called by Suphanburi immigration who told her that Bangkok immigration had instructed them to instruct me to make a deposit of 200 Baht, get my passbook updated then take the passbook to Suphan immigration for them to check and copy and for me to sign their copy.
This was no great drama but a bit of an inconvenience as it required a forty minute wait at the bank and a 140 km round trip to the immigration office.
Had I been foolish enough to be tempted to dip into the 400k in that account then my application would have been denied.
As I said it was not an issue for me, I'm just posting as a heads up for anyone contemplating eating into their 400k early, as all marriage extensions must be approved at Bangkok then I assume the same thing could happen anywhere in the Kingdom.

So you too suffered David Pleats ramblings and terrible pronunciations (he renamed Gundogan as Gundahan and he butchered Zinchenko).
Pronunciations aside there are worse out there, but I do remember him saying something completely random at one point, although I can't now remember what it was.
You need little disappointments at times to make the successes that much sweeter. I know we've each had our share of ups and downs over the years.

I forgot about Oldham.
The Oldham who were unbeatable on their plastic pitch (back in the day)....... until a certain team in blue went up there and stuffed them 3 or 4-0. I seem to remember them getting a couple of decent cup results....... unlike a certain team in blue at that time.

Guts, grit and determination throughout the team.
True that and I'll add discipline, focus and as the came wore on, ever increasing belief. I watched on UEFA TV and obviously enjoyed the performance and result, they stuck with the players for quite a while after the cup was lifted and it was great to see the whole squad and staff celebrating, especially those who started with us as kids and the likes of Mendy, Kante, Rudiger & Azpi - well, all of them really.

How do you know they were stolen? No mention of it in the quoted article. Link please.
There was already a link posted above more than 12 hours before your comment. The link makes it clear that these items were stolen and smuggled out of the country and that Thailand has been trying to get them returned for some time.
