There is really no need to change the Non-O to Non-B, I have been working on a Non-O marriage visa for 10 years now and never had a problem, even having to deal with 2 different immigration offices in 2 different provinces. In fact, for some job positions, the requirements are different when applying for the same job with a different type of visa, usually with the Non-O visa, requiring less. As said above, if you have a Non-O marriage visa (1-year extension) you can go directly to the Labor Office to apply for the work permit.

2023 Honda 160 ADV versus 2024 model
alesaldana replied to gerry1953's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
No it isn't. I bought mine in Bangkok and I live in Phetchabun, they shipped the bike from the shop in an enclosed pick-up to my house. They charged 2500thb. I got it with Bangkok license plate (by my request) and my actual address in Phetchabun. -

That is actually what I am fighting for, there is no reason of dismissal on the termination letter, on top of that the 2 foreign teachers were fired using the same letter, writing both names. (Only those 2 foreigners were employed at the school). A new “foreign teacher” started working the same day that we were notified. The difference is that the new teacher was hired through an agency and we were hired directly from the school. I have to add, for context that a new director was “appointed” back in October.

Excellent and very informative answer, thank you very much @Kinnock. As a matter of fact, today we have done most of the things that you have mentioned, we went to the Labour office, the Secondary Level Education Office (it is in charge of all the high-school schools in the province) (we are not in Bangkok), and even to the Police. All these were recommended by our lawyer.

Hello everyone, as the title says, what kind of compensation could I expect after being fired without notice or warning? I have been living and working in Thailand for more than 10 years but this is the first time something like this has happened. As all of us know, there are 2 kinds of compensation in Thailand: 1. What the law says (15 days notice, written warnings, etc.) 2. What the person can claim (anxiety, stress, loss of future earnings, main family support) So, what could I expect to receive if my case goes to Labour Court, and what could I expect if it is “amicable” settled? Thanks.

I am sorry for your loss. Here you have the contact details of the Spanish Embassy in Bangkok, they usually reply very quickly to any inquiries. I hope it helps you.

Did they reset the “engine oil replacement timing”? On the Yamaha XMAX can be done either on the bike or on the mobile app. I don't know if the Forza has the same.

Problem with our dog vomiting.
alesaldana replied to giddyup's topic in Plants, Pets & Vets in Thailand
Our Boston terrier used to have the same problem, it stopped when we changed the food we were giving to him. Our vet told us something about sodium in its food, I was surprised because we were giving him Royal Canin which I assumed was a good brand, I hope your dog gets better -

Much Higher Traffic Fines in Effect from Sept 5

Yesterday I saw a Police motorbike with 2 people and 3 kids!! I assume the person driving was actually the policeman, (he was wearing plain clothes, not a uniform). If the RTP gives this kind of example, how can they enforce any law? ???????? -
I am kind of OCD regarding this, so I found myself a very nice acrylic holder on Lazada for 75฿. It's cut a little bit bigger than the Tax paper. so it fits perfectly. It makes the yearly changes a breeze. Here is the link if you are interested. They have different models. It comes with 3M double-sided tape to stick it on the windshield. https://www.lazada.co.th/-i2781767175-s10571447091.html?spm=a2o4m.myreviewhistory.0.0.12746108NWG4EB
