I came back from a short holiday trip from Phuket and has not filed the tm 30 form...
How did Immigration know you traveled out of Chiang Rai to a domestic destination?

The lettuce at the place you suggest is loaded with chemicals.
Also many of the products at Tops and Rimping are imported. We recently bought superb black cherries.
The lettuce at Rimping is imported?...
No wonder it’s wilted...

How are people cooking your pizzas?... I have a standard countertop oven that only goes to 250c and a terracotta tile as a pizza stone... I have tried cooking with the rack/tile in the bottom, middle and top and can never really get a good crust...
The best result I have really got is with no stone and a perforated Teflon pizza pan that I start out on the bottom and move up the last minute or two to broil the top... But I feel like I’m just cheating ;-)...
What I’d like to get is one of these...
Next trip back to the States I’m going to put this in the return suitcase...

If there's any demand for it, I can post up my precise recipe so that anyone can make it exactly the same.
Yes do post the recipe and what oven did you use/buy?

I was also told the bank-verification method of monthly transfer deposits will only be accepted through 2019, and beginning in 2020, only a letter from your embassy will be accepted.
I know this post will draw fire from a lot of ThaiVisa participants, but that's what I was not only told by my local immigration, but I have copies of their notices which state all this. Can you post copies of the Immigration notice that says the 65K monthly bank transfer will no be accepted after 2019...

If you have an active BK Bank account should be no problem opening a new one here... I would suggest Airport Plaza as it is close to Immigration - KSK is farang friendly but I would not bank on anything inside KSK staying open long term...

Related to this Secretary Pompeo was reported to have said that UK needs to take care of its own ships!... I wonder what Fox News would have said if Secretary of State Hillary Clinton/Obama Admin would have made such a statement...

A traveler came upon an old farmer hoeing in his field beside the road. Eager to rest his feet, the wanderer hailed the countryman, who seemed happy enough to straighten his back and talk for a moment.
"What sort of people live in the next town?" asked the stranger.
"What were the people like where you've come from?" replied the farmer, answering the question with another question.
"They were a bad lot. Troublemakers all, and lazy too. The most selfish people in the world, and not a one of them to be trusted. I'm happy to be leaving the scoundrels."
"Is that so?" replied the old farmer. "Well, I'm afraid that you'll find the same sort in the next town.
Disappointed, the traveler trudged on his way, and the farmer returned to his work.
Some time later another stranger, coming from the same direction, hailed the farmer, and they stopped to talk. "What sort of people live in the next town?" he asked.
"What were the people like where you've come from?" replied the farmer once again.
"They were the best people in the world. Hard working, honest, and friendly. I'm sorry to be leaving them."
"Fear not," said the farmer. "You'll find the same sort in the next town."

UdonJoe could you post the correct way to notify immigration in the case of moving to a different area and signing a new lease?
Should it be within 24 hours of signing a lease?
Should a TM 28 & 30 both be filed?
What about areas where they don’t care about TM30????
Does the 90 day reporting reset at this notification date?

I’ve been reading and posting on ThaiVisa for over 10 years. As a long term Expat I have enjoyed and relied of this forum for all things Thai – My morning coffee is shared with reading ThaiVisa.
But it seems lately that the View New Content has a new post (Mainly News reposts from Webfact Admin) every day that is political and from outside Thailand – Examples like anything to do with US Politics, Donald Trump & Brexit… These for many of us are just divisive or not of any real interest… US politics in particular is very divisive and in the next two years will only get worse… I really don’t want to be a part of it…
It would be a simple matter of creating a subforum in the News forum called World Politics… Them code in a toggle that would allow users to go into their Account Settings and turn off any subforum (Like World Politics) so posts from that subforum will not appear in the View New Content…
ThaiVisa has been a great resource but like all social media it has its bad side and left unchecked things can get out of hand. I for one am considering all my social media resources and will be opting out of anything that poses a political view…
