  1. Ah yes thats a good idea.. so cbd has no high at all right? i might buy some drops see how i go
  2. Do not pre pay ever here.. no recourse if they dont show up. Just compare bolt and grab now and tell me whats the difference in price? In pattaya its more than 50% cheaper to use bolt.
  3. Grab is a rip off, bolt is less than half price.. try that too
  4. Well that was the case in Pattaya, i had no requirement to show my Aussie license and had to only show my IDP. Guessing rules arent followed to the book here
  5. Being through the process myself ill note my experience. 1) You should not drive in Pattaya without IDP. They will fine you even if you have an aussie license. 2) You cannot get a thai license without an IDP. 3) I was on a 2 month tourist Visa and went via a Visa agent, paid 4500 baht for both car and motorbike license and only thing i presented was my IDP (International driving permit). I was picked up and went to the road office and showed my passport and IDP and made a booking. 2 weeks later i went back, went upstairs and the only test i did was a color test and brake test, but even if you got it wrong many times they will keep allowing you to test until you get it right. I did not have to show any address etc as the agent fixed all that up.
  6. As title suggests, can you remove the paper and staple once you are home from the 30 day extension? i for forsee having to go through many passports the way i travel
  7. FWIW January 2022 applied for 2 month TV Granted. Flew into thailand and Covid Extension until June 2022. Applied new passport July 2022 Applied for 2 month TV and granted. Now in thailand and extended 1 month. Best bet is to apply for 2 month visa at local embassy
  8. Ill give a +1 for @Andyvisions assuming he owns Big Bud dispensary on Bukhao right near LK. 1) The girl who works there is the most informative person selling weed in the 10 or so shops ive entered in Pattaya 2) They also sold my favourite weed (Jolly Rancher) which is now out of stock.. @Andyvisions can you get your hands on the same stuff? 3) They sell 0.5g pre rolled joints in a nice case for the same price (per g) as 1 gram in a bag 4) Their joints are all good prices considering most sell green crack for 200 a joint these people sell premium weed at 250-350 for good stuff. 5) High society in LK doesnt sell joints of anything but green crack and their gram prices are close to 1000 (I expect this due to Location). The one outside kink is OK jet fuel was decent but no joints. The one down Pothole was just terrible, girls didnt speak english, what they sold in joints they didnt sell in grams and visa versa.. so much for try and buy.. and finally all of walking street is a rip off obviously
  9. Just to throw my 2c in and ask a few questions too. Around Pattaya I have tried joints premade (yes i know high price but i was out and n00b). 1. Green Crack is strong and have bought 5g as backup from thai green labs.. 2. The Worst weed i bought was GMO, still have some, too scared to try.. it was 300b for 0.5g in a joint 3. The best weed i have bought and if anyone can help me find it online is jolly rancher.. Same price as the gmo but totally amazing high from 2 puffs.. it cut out my entire drunkness and i was having the best high ever.. but cant find it online 4. I have also tried Jet Fuel and Vanilla Sundae and both are satisfactory and both around 300g for 0.5 joint. 5. I was interested in healing benefits of CBD hence i also bought 5g of BAOX from TGL and its nearly a perfect high but a little weak.. Does anyone reccomend mixing it with one of the above? Interested in jolly Rancher online if anyone knows, and also reccomendations for mixing BAOX to make it stronger.
  10. cars24 which i have used in australia are awesome, they have a website here too.. Buy car sight unseen, full warranty, return if you dont like, free delivery.
  11. Theres only one thing to make this fair. Lock him up. Then lock up every female / ladyboy who has ever laid finger on a guy drinking a beer or walking down the street.
  12. It is stated that for every 1km increase in speed, there is a 4-5% increase in risk of death and reducing from speed limit of 40 - 30km of 2/3rd of fatal crashes were avoided. Ofcourse the driver was wrong its not debated but this thing is inevitable as long as road rules arent enforced. https://acrs.org.au/newsroom/how-many-lives-could-be-saved-by-speed-limit-reductions/ SPEED KILLS
  13. I have been riding 20 years, scooters, 250s, 600s etc. Even me with 80kg and experience having a 40kg pillion severly limits my movements. With 3 girls on a woeful scooter there is essentially no steering at all except at super low speeds. This will continue to happen until these bikes a confiscated and the adults, cops and everyone who let them do this for as long as they did all share accountability
  14. In Oz they drop speed limits from 60-50-40 to 30 and even 10 as its proven that speed kills, quite literally. Huge reduction in death just from a lower speed. Couple potential speed with 3 x 45kg girls which even exceeds the recommended weight limit of a brand new click and its a recipe for disaster. RIP to everyone the family must be devastated. As for the aussie guy, you can drive like a d*&k in oz and 99% the other person is aware, but 2 bad decisions at once theres no hope
  15. X96 Air is a terrible box. High spec with a very bad software overlay, unable to delete / remove youtube / netflix from home screen, back button in wrong location and cheap remote Bang for buck box in thailand you can get a True ID Android box. Software is very quick and can install any application on it. If you want a decent non branded box get the xiaomi mi box, amazon firestick 4K box or new google chrome with android tv on it. All have very good software with nice remote control feedback and most importantly the back button is in the right place (unlike the x96)
  16. I have a TV for 60 days starting 31st august. They stamped 29th October as exit when 60 days is the 30th October meaning my flight out will be breaking the visa on the stamp but not the actual visa. I asked the agent and he said the system ….. but wouldn’t fix my stamp. Is this normal? Should I just accept the day overstay when the time comes?
  17. Instead of creating a new thread, has anyone been thru swampy lately on the way in? hows the immigration lines? Arriving next Wed 4pm Thai time and wondering if its worth paying for fast track
  18. This reminds me of last trip home from Th. I was waiting for the bags @ sydney airport and as they came down the chute thing on certain angles 3 cases cracked... in the end it was funny to watch
  19. I stumbled across a wine shop in thailand and the owner told me smaller obscure brands from Europe or Australia they under declare hence reducing the tax. This cannot be done on larger brands such as penfolds etc. There are some deals and I picked up a nice bottle for only 350b which is more than I usually pay locally in sydney but acceptable. just to note they are cheaper than the big c 711 prices
  20. Cherry Taxi i have used all through this year. 1000b. PM for line if interested not sure how to find userid
  21. Contact visa agent on line and ask for Covid extension visa if they still doing
  22. I have a new passport and is no longer matching my Thai DL PP Number. Is this required for any purpose? Should i update now or wait for expiry...
