There has been some leaks on this second reading of the C&HA. But mostly summaries. It feels like personal use will remain "not illegal". That comes from my read on a Matichon article today. There are 95 sections in this version. I haven't seen the complete version, should be available from Wed. 14 Sep. It will defer a lot important matters to the main committee, to be headed by Anutin, with 24 members, and to other government organizations and ministries. Who knows what the guidance for the RTP will be? Follow this guy on FB... https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100044511276276 It is not illegal. This only makes sense if you've been here longer than a few weeks.

Can you share the brand name, flavor. Shop name? I have seen Stiizy 30 mg triangles (made up up of three 10 mg triangles) for sale here. They're not cheap, 1,990 THB for 90 mg, three larger triangles.
-
Is there a supplier which you've used somewhere else? Please share that as a reference point. What is you budget per 5 mg piece? There are imported, from California, gummies available here. Go to LINE Shopping, search for "Stiizy". Also look on FB. All other gummies sold here will likely be less than 0.2 % THC. Or they will be less than reliable. Of course these, at more than 0.2% THC would be illegal here.

Should I use a bong with my weed vaporizer?
bamnutsak replied to funlovinkid's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
Use quality cannabis Use a grinder Watch some YT videos on proper vaporizer use. Most people use the wrong technique, and end up with a less than ideal experience. -
You know this is about as "legitimate" as the tuk-tuk driver claiming the Grand Palace is closed today. The MoT and its minister want a slush fund. End of story. This fee has been claimed to be destined for everything from unpaid medical expenses to new coral reefs. It will be used for whatever the Minister and Permanent Secretary wants If this were legitimate they'd simply crank the PSC (denoted as "TS" on your ticket breakout) from 700 Baht to 1,000 baht, and get AoT to kick it (300 baht) back to the government. And they're hoping to avoid having to charge Thais, by breaking this fee out and putting it on the GDS's (and airlines) to collect and remit the "brown envelopes".

Should I use a bong with my weed vaporizer?
bamnutsak replied to funlovinkid's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
Yes, the Pax 3 is a top-of-the-line portable dry-herb vaporizer - would that we could buy one here, as I would. I will buy one on my next trip back to the U.S. And it uses conduction. And it has the chamber on the opposite end from the mouth-piece, so a long vapor path. That said, the OP doesn't have a Pax 3. -
Should I use a bong with my weed vaporizer?
bamnutsak replied to funlovinkid's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
Dry-herb vaporizers do get quite hot, and the vapor travel path is very short. I don't find the vapor to be hot though. The last hit, especially if you bump the temp, can be a tad harsh, but not cough-inducing. I find I need to let them cool a bit between sessions, and re-loading. I actually use three separate units for a single session. -

I don't, I use the vaporizer straight-up. But you can connect a dry-herb vaporizer to a bong. The long travel path should cool the vapor considerably, but not sure it would be more or less "healthy"? I think 14 mm is the proper adapeter size? https://www.planetofthevapes.com/products/xmax-v3-pro-glass-waterpipe-adaptor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7N3uXw7RNU I use the lowest possible setting, or in the case of a fully adjustable unit, 190 C (374 F). I don't experience any heat or harshness-related issues. Obviously a bong is not quite as portable as the unit itself. -
I've used a dab rig on a bong for hash, and other "concentrates" (live rosin, budder, shatter, Moon Rocks). A lower-cost option would be a Dynavap. The vaporization temperature of hash is ~ 190 C, I think, so a dry-herb vaporizer would work. But it would gum up the chamber on its own, so I'd layer it in the middle of the pack with cannabis. Setting the temp on 190, or "low". There are many other options. 50 years ago we'd stick it on a safety pin, light it and inhale the smoke.

Yeah, if you had called them BEFORE the first flight departed you may have been able to negotiate a reasonable, medical-related, re-issuing of the ticket, with little or no additional cost/penalty. Assuming you were able to fly. Bleeding 10 weeks after surgery sounds alarming, and it was probably wise of you not to board the flight.

In my defense I did write my repsonse well before these snu-bags were introduced. They're not at all the same as what the OP posted about. And they're probably illegal, but the "law" is quite flexible here. I am not a lawyer, so just expressing my "opinion". I did see these pop yesterday, but couldn't really find out much information on the actual "processing" and contents. Hopefully the manufacturer will be along to give us those details.

Where to get the best weed in Pattaya?
bamnutsak replied to Trippy's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
Consistency is an issue here, and it won't be addressed anytime soon. You have to move quickly, buy and try a gram, then if you like it, order as much as you can. Many times here I've waited a day or two to follow up and been disappointed as that strain is sold out. Viking seems quite rare, I'm surprised there was a noticeable variation. -
This is commonly referred to as "The Flat Tire Rule", as in "I had a flat tire on the way to the airport". Only 'works' if you call within a few hours of "missing" the segment. There is no "I've been in a coma for three days" rule, AFAIK. Some fares, not all, allow for a "Stopover" in addition to the "destination", usually one only, with its own rules and regs. This would be detailed in the fare rules. Airlines with "tag" flights through BKK offer this option, esp. ME carriers. Airlines with through flights via Japan usually - at least they haven't in the past - do not allow for the stopever to be in Japan.
-
Normally, in the event of a no-show - which is what the OP did, all subsequent segments are cancelled. Even missing the last segment may incur some issues, re: hidden city. Reviews the terms on your ticket. Contact the airline for options/redress. I doubt the remaining segments are valid.

I'd say 23. With quite a few assumptions, as you've provided very little detail, and using the new MEA direct-owner rates (you'll pay nearly double if you're renting), my SWAG is 25,000 for a typical photo grow. Equipment ~ 30,000 to get going. Figure 0.5 grams per watt (first grow) with 480 watt LED, six plants = 240 grams. If you nail it. ~ 22 weeks, plus another 5 ~ 6 for drying and curing.

Yes. Yes. 10/10 rating from me.

IMO you need a dedicated room, with aircon and ideally, even fresh outside air supply and exhaust. You can calculate the kilowatt hours easily, but need to know what's being grown. For photos, 18/6 for veg, 12/12 for flower. For autos many run 20/4 for the entire run. People underestimate the cost, time, challenges and dedication required to grow quality cannabis. I like sausage. You don't see me raising pigs in my living room, nor do I have an abatoir in my loo, or a smoker in my kitchen. I buy sausages at the market.
-
I still think they could fall back to medical only, so folks could get a medical certificate for flower, purchased at authorized retailers. But, the buzz right now (from those participating in the second draft of the CCA) is that personal use will remain, but with controls on production, distribution, sales, advertising. Hopefully the government gets disbanded (via a selfie-coup), and it takes a year or five for a new administration/parliament to reign in cannabis. No clue why these medicos feel the need to get involved? Maybe they need to feel relevant, and wish to avoid takling real medical problems for the citizenry?
-
Are you growing autos or photos, photos take longer than 16 weeks. Will you use a tent? Day 1 start-up costs for a 4x4, maybe a 480 LED, plus all the bits/bobs, 20,000 - 30,000. It adds up, tent, lights, fans, timers, inline fan/filter, seeds, soil/supersoil, fertilizer, water/treatment, meters. This assumes you have a room equipped with an AC unit already. If not, add that to the bill. You could make your own equipment list, share it here, we'll price it for you. Day 1 start-up obviously excludes running costs over the grow period.

There are a lot of edibles out there, just fire up The Facebook and after the first search you'll get a lot of options. These are technically illegal. There was a story in the Thai press a few days ago about three young Thai lads (Matthyom) sharing a cookie and ending up disoriented in the hospital. May or may not have been accurate was my read. One poster here mentioned a cookie he buys which has 100 mg (of something), but he didn't share any details. There are imported gummies on The Facebook, saw Stiizy variety (30 mg, in a three-segment - so 10 mg dose triangular gummie) yesterday. Personally I'm a Girl Scout Cookies (AKA: GSC) fan. https://www.wikileaf.com/strain/girl-scout-cookies/ But there are probably ~ 100 "Cookies" strains out there?

This is not a surprise, fully expected this position which will be coming from an an "independent" legal expert, this being his 4th or 5th "constitution". And he's probably correct "legally". So there are few paths forward...Prayut will return to work triumphantly on Friday, or next week. And then unrest will ensue.

Over 50 Members Of Senators’ Entourage Close To Own Bosses
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Each Senator gets five staff. These are obviously no-show jobs, unless the aging senator needs medical help, or needs to be woken up during debate. I'd be shocked if the total number of nepotites is 50, golly, it might even be MORE than 1,250. -
This is a popular thread-starter so a search might yield some low-hanging fruit? Easiest path is just to pay the insurance "fee", 5,900 baht. Otherwise a Concierge Service at closer to 3,000 might work. Maybe a reference from a Thai citizen in good standing, or a bank employee. Or just hit the streets and try, there are scores of branched in the greater BMA.
