Thanks for posting all those recent incident reports for the A320. The FAA found staff at Boeing's supplier using liquid Dawn soap as lubricant for a 737 Max door seal: NYT The Federal Aviation Administration auditors saw mechanics for a Boeing supplier using liquid Dawn soap as a lubricant for fitting a door seal, The New York Times reported. The regulator then observed mechanics at Spirit AeroSystems, which builds the fuselage of Boeing's 737 Max, cleaning up using a wet cheesecloth, per The Times' Mark Walker. The slides said that Boeing had failed 33 of 89 product audits related to 737 Max production, while Spirit failed seven of 13 audits, per The Times. https://www.businessinsider.com/faa-boeing-spirit-aerosystems-dawn-soap-door-seal-737-max-2024-3

Arriving? Departing? Thai? Foreigner? Foreign, departing -- egates but make sure you are eligible. There have been threads/questions here about using these with various visa/permission to stay authorizations. https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/2023/12/11/suvarnabhumi-auto-departure-passport-control-is-open-to-foreigners/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1314045-suvarnabhumi-airport-opens-automated-channels-to-foreign-travellers/ -
Move Forward Dissolution Bid Part Of Thaksin’s Secret Deal
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Who knows what thaksin agreed to in order to facilitate his, and Yingluck's return? The rumor mill suggests that he is beholden to the . Putting down any future suggestions of reforms, and punishing those who supported such suggestions, would seem to be the minimum. 14 million voters be damned. -
Barely a day goes by without mention of a massive bust of methamphetamine pills, the typical haul is 10 million tablets, or tens of kilograms of crystal meth. Obviously most of these drugs are merely being transshipped across Thailand, from Myanmar to ports in the south, destined for Australia, Europe and the Americas. But a lot falls off the truck/boat and is easily the number one public health concern for Thais.

MFP warned of legal implications ahead of general debate
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
One person's "cautionary note" is another's "threat". In that case, it should be easy for "the government" to defend the actions taken. The pardon from eight years to one year seemed curious. As does the preferred treatment. -

We could but they were burned, and I don't think the Nazis recorded the titles/authors. Do let us know if your research turns anything up. -
J.K. Rowling Insinuates Nazis Did Not Burn Trans Books

I think most of us are triggered by Nazis, I know I am. Many, like me, want to see them all die a horrible death, a la melting away upon viewing the spirits released from the Lost Ark. (Indy 5 was actually quite enjoyable, Mads Mikkelsen makes a perfect Nazi.) Others probably start to think about a shopping trip to Hugo Boss. Or "how do these jackboots make me look?" I did recently rewatch "Where Eagles Dare", where Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton dispatch what seemed like a thousand Nazis. So satisfying. -

Well, in this case, you can lay the blame at Ms. Rowling's feet. Regarding movies, Nazis still make awesome villains. But maybe Jim Caviezel will make a sympathetic bio-pic about Dr. Mengele? -
