Newbie spouting conspiracy theories. Back that nonsense up, or ask the mods to delete it. My guess is that you failed to do "a fair bit of research", because your mini-rant makes you look ill-informed.

AN Original Republican calls to impeach Biden increased.
bamnutsak replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Go for it. What's holding republicans back? Maybe they can find this chap, who did a runner in 2019 after allegedly embezzling millions. Last seen in Monaco. According to Ukrainian authorities Zlochevsky is suspected of "theft of government funds on an especially large scale".[35] Authorities said the criminal investigation on suspicion of embezzlement is currently on hold because Zlochevsky's whereabouts cannot presently be determined.[36] As of 2019, Zlochevsky is reported to live in Monaco.[37] According to an investigation by Al Jazeera he bought Cypriot citizenship somewhere between 2017 and 2019.[38] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mykola_Zlochevsky And maybe give Dr. Luft immunity so he can testify? U.S. Attorney Announces Charges Against Co-Director Of Think Tank For Acting As An Unregistered Foreign Agent, Trafficking In Arms, Violating U.S. Sanctions Against Iran, And Making False Statements To Federal Agents https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/us-attorney-announces-charges-against-co-director-think-tank-acting-unregistered Star witnesses. :cough -
It's a long way to next Thursday, with plenty of time for horse-trading. Really there is only one person that needs to be satisfied, and it is not Thaksin. Srettha + MFP looks like a non-starter for the Old Guard. MFP will not be allowed anywhere near a cabinet post. MFP will eventually be eliminated/banned.

Legal experts challenge parliament’s rejection of Pita’s renomination
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Thai "law" is very flexible, and can be applied as needed. The police, ministry of "justice", prosecutors and the courts all have an inherent bias. There is little transparency, and one cannot criticize the "courts". That said Speaker Wan Noor should resign. He's clearly not up to the job. He can stay on as an advisor to the new Speaker. -
"refused to bring charges" on Hunter Biden for tax evasion
bamnutsak replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Still unclear on the agenda here? Is it that Hunter Biden should have been charged with more crimes? Misdemeanors? And/or that he owes additional payments in tax and penalties? Or do Grassley and Comer want to weaponize the IRS? -
Like Dr. Luft, not the most reliable of witnesses, assuming he can be found. from your Wiki link According to Ukrainian authorities Zlochevsky is suspected of "theft of government funds on an especially large scale".[35] Authorities said the criminal investigation on suspicion of embezzlement is currently on hold because Zlochevsky's whereabouts cannot presently be determined.[36] As of 2019, Zlochevsky is reported to live in Monaco.[37] According to an investigation by Al Jazeera he bought Cypriot citizenship somewhere between 2017 and 2019.[38]

Document Sen. Grassley released. https://t.co/jmtT3WpeJF This document mentions that Zlochevsky (Burisma executive and not the "informant" whose identity remains unknown) has 17 recordings, two of which involve Joe Biden. I would think that Grassley/Comer would be releasing these recordings soon. I think the republicans are contending that Brusima paid the Bidens to get Prosecutor Shokin fired? But I may not fully understand their thinking? My sense is that if they had real evidence they would present it, and that all they really want to do is impugn the integrity of the President to affect the 2024 election.

He thinks he's relevant, and that his words influence people. He isn't, and they don't. No one is listening to this retired General. He should just move on to the Privy Council.

PTP 141 BJT 71 Dem 25 PPP 40 UTN 36 313 CPK 2 CTP 10

That was not a requirement. A party could put up to 5 names for PM pre-election, but that was not a requirement. You could put none up but still nominate someone. As I understand it.

Quick Analysis: With Pita Gone, What Happens Next?

Two different one shot scenarios. Mine referred to the next vote being 27 July, and the holiday on 28 July. Timing constraint. The more than one vote/one resolution is different. Constitutional constraint. -
I think any solution acceptable to the Jurassic Parkers (Senate) can NOT include MFP. That is to say, no one from MFP can be allowed to be in the resulting cabinet. Full stop.

Quick Analysis: With Pita Gone, What Happens Next?
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This is why they need a week. They've got one shot to find the perfect birthday present, and it will take that long for all the "horse-trading" to be completed. Given the hard deadline of 28 July failure may not be an option? Prawit may be the last man waddling? Oops did he fall down again? -
It will be interesting to see how aggressive the RTA/ISOC and the RTP are in pressing 112/116/Computer Crimes Act charges for those involved in protests. And if Attitude Adjustment camps become a thing again.

Is a Drug to Treat Cannabis Addiction Finally Within Reach?
bamnutsak replied to gargamon's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
I conferred that honor on you. Based on your professed "experience", and your ability to Google and find articles. Exemplary. If I've made a mistake, and I often do, please advise. Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which the abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion in their victim's mind. Unless you experienced self-doubt or confusion based on my post you should probably retract that statement. -
I think his legal problems will actually help him. His base loves that he is being oppressed by the deep state. He can claim victim-hood. He can forestall trials until after the election. If he wins he'll pardon himself, and get HIS DOJ/OLC to write an opinion that the DOJ can never prosecute anyone named trump. If he loses he will claim he won, and is still president. Although that would be a third term? Yes? No? SCOTUS says "No". No downside to any criminal/civil charges. In fact, the more the merrier.

Top 5, but a long shot. Though he would make the ideal birthday present for the man who has everything.

Is a Drug to Treat Cannabis Addiction Finally Within Reach?
bamnutsak replied to gargamon's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
Even more rudimentary, it's already been posted on page 1 of this thread. ???? That said, it hardly represents all encompassing "medical profession" which some "expert" posted about. But yes, I am bowing to your "expertise". -

Quick Analysis: With Pita Gone, What Happens Next?
bamnutsak replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Good analysis, although depressing. from the article, Of the eligible candidates for prime minister, only four have any realistic chance of actually winning. Pheu Thai’s Paethongtharn Shinawatra and Srettha Thavisin are the most likely candidates to be put forward; Bhumjaithai’s Anutin isn’t out of the running, given his status as the leader of the third biggest party, while Palang Pracharath leader Prawit Wongsuwan consistently remains in play with his sway over the Senate appointments under the NCPO. I can't see the Senate going with either PTP candidate unless they (PTP) agree to be subservient to the will of the aristocracy.- 65 replies

Parliament to meet again July 27th to select prime minister

A one week delay is not ideal. I don't see a reason offered for such a delay. This second vote should be done ASAP. -
Pita ordered to suspend doing his duties as an MP

So you contend that one single person can bring about ...the beginning of the end of Thailand? That sounds a crazy.
