The last sentence did not report the father as saying that his son had done anything of the sort in the past.
OK, the next to last sentence. Or last paragraph.

Very nice gesture. The man has a good heart.
It pains me when I see a motorbike with an adult and 1-4 kids on it and only the adult is wearing a helmet. But mostly none of them are wearing helmets.
I guess the police don't fine you if the driver is wearing a helmet even if the others are not. I think the main reason you see people wearing helmets is just to avoid a fine, not for safety.

Are you going to return before you current 90 day permission expires?

I know SCB calls to ask what the money is for if it is over $20,000 US. All they really want to know is if it is for personal use or for purchasing property.
Also as TOPT mentioned when they called me they would tell me the rate but then tell me they were going to give me a better rate. I guess because of the size of the transfer.

Did you read the last sentence? This is not the first time he has done it according to his father.

My brother had a pickup that had a dual system. You could switch between benzene and LPG. It ran like doo doo and had a hard time going up hills.
Judging by the local LPG station hardly anyone is using it anymore. About 10 years ago it was fairly busy. It's rare to see a car there now.

so just under 300 a month...10 baht a day...do they put a guy outside your house in the tiny police box?
Where we bought property in rural Ratchaburi it costs 1,000/month for the red box. In our case it is divided among the 10 people that own property on the soi. So 100/month. The police drive out only 2-3 times per week. But otherwise they would never be there.

Isn't he responsible for making retirees keep money in the bank all year round instead of just 3 months of the year?

have a very bad experience with that vacuum pump, I even fainted, it sucks directly on your eardrum!
Nowadayas I first ask if they have that pump, if the answer is yes, I leave the clinic.
As you get older, it seems that you suffer more from earwax, now I also use hydrogen peroxide, but I must admit that if you submit too much earwax, it does not work wel and you have to repeat it more than once.
Had my ears cleaned, vacuumed twice at Bangkok hospital. It hurt.

Some of the old style barbers do ear cleaning. They use a long scraper.
There are scrapers for sale on lazada. You can do your own.

He should have stuck with the old cash on the spot payments.
So I guess she didn't identify herself as a police officer. They usually don't fine each other. That's why you see the badges on the front of cars. Although one police officer I know told me a lot of them are fake. I had asked him for one for my car. 🙃

You know you are in Thailand when you go through a red light and look in your mirror and see three guys come through behind you.
You know you are in Thailand when you slow down when the light turns yellow(orange for Thais) and you get rear ended.

Do you have a bypass valve? For when the power goes out and the pump does not run. I once opened my bypass valve when the power went out and forgot to close it when power came back on and it emptied my water tank.

Shrinkflation is nothing new. It has been going on for a long time. Manufactures have to make decisions on whether to raise prices or make a smaller package.

As to the 'nudity', it's less than 50 years that just about every Thai peasant woman (mostly Khmer & Lao) went topless all day every day ... But modern technology is producing whole generations of memory-free people.
My wife's mother would go topless in her home all the time but not out in public.
