My wifes family and relatives often leave food out overnight. I think the chance is there for bacteria to grow but doesn't necessarily mean it will. Leaving cooked chicken out is probably safer than leaving raw chicken out and then cooking it. Look at the fresh markets where the meat is just left out in the heat. They don't seem to have too much problems from that either. I know I was raised being told don't give dogs bones it will kill them. When I first retired here I would tell people they were going to kill their dogs giving them bones. They would just give me funny looks. After a short period I realised there are millions of dogs eating bones, of every type, everyday here and they aren't all dying. So while there may be a chance of a bone hurting a dog it doesn't happen that often. Same with leaving food out.

Arcoxia works well for this type of pain. But I would be careful using it. It was a reformulation of Vioxx, which was taken off the market due to increased risk of heart attack. I noticed when I used Arcoxia my pulse was significantly higher. I was prescribed Vioxx for the same condition. A few weeks after I started using it they removed it from the market in the US. Arcoxia was never approved there either. When my wife found out it was taken off the market she threw away my remaining pills. I was kind of upset. I didn't want to stop using it worked so well.

I Love to Touch You When We Walk: But,..."OK in Thailand"?
rwill replied to GammaGlobulin's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
A few decades ago you would see men walking with arms around each other. Same with women. But it was very rare to see a man and woman touching while walking. It had nothing to do with sexuality. But that has changed in recent times. Much more common now to see couples walking around holding each other than to see a group of friends walking around embraced. -
Has your girlfriend got a joke or ever said anything funny ever?
rwill replied to Chris Daley's topic in General Topics
Thai's tell jokes. I usually don't see the humor in them though. Must be cultural differences. Thai TV humor is still in the 3 Stooges/Benny Hill stage, but not as good. -

I don't think you still fully understand. It is not the permission to stay date that matters. It is the date the orignal O-A visa stamp has for an expiration that matters. Say for example she had obtained the visa in July 2024, it would expire in July 2025. Even if when she entered Thailand she received permission to stay until August 2025. After July 2025 she could leave Thailand without getting a reentry permit and it would kill off the permission to stay and she would have to obtain another visa then or come back visa exempt.

Thailand Boosts Road Safety Measures for Songkran Holiday Travel
rwill replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
During the major holidays the fatalities are below normal. Heavy traffic on the highways reduces the speed. Sometimes you are going 20-30km/h. Much harder to die at those speeds. It has nothing to do with what they are doing.
