stereolab replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Usually awarded to long serving street sweepers and toilet attendants. -
I am also hyper-vigilant whilst out and about, hate being around people, hate being touched. Never go to Bars or clubs, been dry for 33 years now. I do not have any friends, never needed them. Keep myself very busy and active mainly in our extensive fields and gardens.

stereolab replied to CharlieH's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
Driving and avoiding a dog whilst on a motorcycle at speed is problematic, however, when driving a car, it is not, simply aim for the body mass of the dog, do not, ever, try to swerve a dog which is attacking you. -

New car time! This time - the 19 year old son
stereolab replied to pedro01's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
The CX-3 is an excellent choice, if you are going down this route. Just get the base plus model at 809k, he does not need the add-ons which are both expensive and would confuse a young driver. -
I managed, eventually, to register on Monday and received an acknowledgement of my submission almost immediately. Tonight I received the full 90 day approval with a new report in March 2022. Based with Nong Khai office. The old system worked in my initial years here,2013-17, then had to report in person to NK.

My initial e-mail went to spam folder, thankfully I could use cut and paste for the 15 digit alpha/numeric/symbol password. Use of Captcha code is OTT. Finally got through to the main site and now await acceptance of my submission. How some older applicants will find a way through this maze I do not know.

I would use the Immigration website designers, that would keep intruders out. -
I returned my beantocup espresso machine, post warranty period, as it started leaking, repaired for 4k baht in less than a week. Works perfectly now. My short term replacement , a Minimex Brand at 5k baht, made a reasonably good cup of coffee, it is now in storage on standby.
