Old information, I’m sure much has changed by now, but it does confirm a maximum 30 days in country for your bike

Wouldn’t have been issued in Khon Kaen by any chance?

I have made some very good coin in the last 6 months, gold, lithium and miners.
The prior 2-3 years were very mediocre, nevertheless have always made my monthly budget targets.
2017-2018 were pretty similar to the last 6 months, very good.
I nearly had my first 10 bagger with ASX:LKE at it's peak a few weeks ago. Having a real good run with cobalt/nickel right now. Take a look at ASX:JRV. Huge upside even at 100% from my buy-in. ASX:RSG at levels very hard to ignore

Commodities are good right now: rare earths, lithium and uranium to name a few. Gold is traditionally a good 'hedge' against inflation and market volatility, it's going well for me right now. Utilities and staples are also good in inflationary times. I also just bought my first crypto after being very resistant to it over the last decade.

I’m guessing even if the insurance company is paying something like 500K wouldn’t have gone too far, especially with an airlift

My right foot was severed as a result of riding in the back-seat with my feet sticking out the window of a crew-cab, what's wrong with you?
Wowee, that’s pretty intense!
I had a disagreement with an SUV on my motorcycle at a traffic light a few years back, it turned in front of me on a green light.
Fractured skull, brain injury, fractured neck, 2 fractured vertebrae lumbar, punctured lung, ruptured spleen, bruised heart, traumatic hernia, brachial plexus injury and a few other small fractures and lacerations. 4 months in hospital and around 4 years of rehab.
I lost the use of my left arm, hand and finger function only and I now live with all the associated pain and loss of balance etcAfter 29hrs of nerve transfer surgery on my arm and close to 2 years of intense rehab I got some use back, but it’s still a work in progress
I actually broke the same arm a couple of months ago falling off of a ladder chasing birds out of my carport ceiling haha FML ????

Yeah, I could do most of this stuff by the time I got out of high school, but I did not work 50 years to spend the last of them carrying bags of thin-set and boxes of tile upstairs before spending hours on my knees setting them.
Setting tile is hard work.
Very valid point and duly noted. I’m quite a bit younger than you obviously, but I’m also disabled. But sadly, doing it ourselves is the only way it’ll ever be done to any sort of acceptable standard. I guess it’s that or walk around with our eyes closed and our heads up our butts haha
All the best mate, hoping you can find at least a half acceptable solution to the problem ????????

Over the years of living here I've acquired some DIY constructions skills, such as welding, woodworking, working with concrete and tiles, plumbing, electrical, ect... thanks to either not being able to find people to do small jobs or dissatisfaction with end result.
So many Thai men in the Villages are Somchais of all trades but really lack a work ethic that reflects an attention to detail and aesthetic value. I'd trust them to build me a barn, that's about it.
If you are crying over the counter top.....yikes!...wait till they finish the house!!...you'll be suicidal! ????
I think a big part of it is the thai sabai sabai attitude and acceptance of it is what it is. Very few expect a high standard of work and even fewer are capable of it.
I just had my carport enclosed on two sides. The owner of the company is English private school educated and sone of the work I have seen in the picture gallery looked top notch. So I thought ‘hey, don’t supervise and put some trust in someone for once’. That lasted one day after I inspected the frame work haha.
Luckily he’s a young guy trying to build a reputation and was very receptive to my critique so I became site foreman for 3 days, the ends result was actually something anyone could be proud of- 2

My solution to continually poor workmanship and general unhappiness with the ‘well done’ stuff was YouTube and, mostly, cheap tools from Lazada. Pretty much anything can be learned easily with enough patience and commitment and I can almost guarantee your own work will be of a far higher standard than nearly all you will pay for here. YouTube is amazing for step by step, adult understandable guidance
One bonus from taking this route I can now weld (mig & arc), remove and maintain my cars clutch, transmission and diff(older car), repair just about anything, reshape and respray my car body panels (pretty confident I’ll be able to fix crash damage as well), maintain and repair anything to do with my bore and constant pressure pumps, plumbing & electrical (A grade sparky anyway) and repair just about anything around the house.
If you have the spare time and even basic tool knowledge give it a go, and delete the reliance on any of the jokers that pass themselves off as ‘tradesmen’ here- 1

Lazada used to use them, but I notice in my area and all the deliveries I have had that they seem to have dropped them. Although they are still in town.
When they were using them, they were a pain ! often marked things as "attempted delivery" but no way they actually did.
My local J&T(D?)has just changed to Flash/Ninja. They may be in trouble, financial or otherwise?

and what is the purpose of this " letter from condo" when you have a rental contract ?
The letter from the condo being management to prove its not a fake contract, maybe?
@Barry864 The two rentals I have had in the past had all of the other documents asked for included in the contract. Sounds like a rental agent that isn't doing their job to me

30,000 seems like the standard for Cannabis POSSESSION, of a personal amount (a few grams), while the 120,000 opt-out was the result of 50+ grams on the person (he walked).
All these figures are PBA "donations", meant to avoid having to enter the system.
Exactly.
There's "THC Oil" on Shopee for goddness sakes, and all over FB.
Ingesting products of unknown origins is risky, unless you want "Jake-leg". Six dollar Jaques Danielles from the Cambodian market might be better for you?
How many cosmetic surgeries have been exposed as fake? A lot.
Khao San University. Brilliant.
A close friend paid 100K off the books in Thonglor for coke possession recently. Your numbers stack up

My wife's idea of a tablecloth is a 6' x 4' sheet of decorative plastic which she buys from the local supermarket. Reminds me of the table covering we had when I was a kid in Liverpool. Very easy to wash off the stains and brush off the crumbs.
Your wife must be hi-so, at least your plastic is decorative. I get straight black or blue

That is to check Emissions nothing to do with the decibel reading.
My bikes are checked for Db reading only, at the independent inspection shops as well at the Chon Buri LTO. I haven’t seen an emissions test done yet in the time I’ve been here. Go figure

Any non standard exhaust and any that doesn't have the TIS - Thai Industrial Standards stamp is illegal, no matter the Db limit. Anything other than standard one runs the risk of being fined. I had a non standard can on my Aerox, with a video at a testing station reading 91Db@4 or 5000rpm. I got nailed regardless' "not standard, mister"
My Duc comes with Ducati supplied and fitted Termignoni's at 107Db, alas no TIS stamp ????

send your positive to hotel and re-book for a minimum 15 days after you first tested positive.
Same with an airline.
Only emirates will fly you positive, that after recovery.
Ask dr to issue you medical certificate right now, some airlines insist on this certificate to be issued minimum 14 days before flight. Also ask for an original test result.
If you test positive in thailand with recovery certificate you won't be quarantined.
I would not dare to fly on 20.03 without recovery certificate. Your departure test might be negative, but turn to positive in thailand and you will get 10 days hospitel at own expense of some 50k baht.
Solid advice

You handled the situation correctly. Even when you are quite sure the official is wrong, you do not unnecessarily make him lose face. He was not trying to be nasty. He was just an ignoramus.
