  1. There are ways to do this.

It gets tricky when you want to license and insure to drive on the road.

Off hiway, race cars, etc are easier.

I would check out a few car clubs, road race courses, or drag strips and ask the local people. All info will be found there - as well as you very well might be offered some assistance.

  2. In a sealed coolant system you would not think evap would be an issue.

And using distilled water will not leave as much of a mess as it evaporates from a leak either. Like mineral deposits from their prescience.

Maybe use 50/50 distilled and coolant. I buy from HD truck supplier, pre mixed, use for all my drives and rides

Good points. Well taken. I am not anti-children. I do not have kids, and am grateful for that, but I really like kids. Especially those who are well behaved in public, and those fortunate enough to have grown up in an environment like you created for your son. Later on in life, my bet is that he will be a far more advanced human being, and have alot more self control and discipline, as a result of the boundaries you have set for him. I feel sorry for the ones who have parents who refuse to set boundaries.

I asked a good friend of mine why he allows his son to misbehave the way he does. He told me if he disciplines him, he is afraid his son will like him less. I asked him, are you raising a son, or trying to make a friend? He did not have an answer for that. How pathetic.

Your job as a parent is to prepare your child for Life.

    This means learning correct behavior.

One Caveat - I had both my parents growing up. Was an Altar Boy, Cub scout, all the white bread Status Quo BS that people believe will make a "Good Citizen"

All out the window at age 14 ...

Altho the correct behavior I was taught served me well when I spent my time with those "Outside" the system

But I was taught the basics - the rest was up to me.

This is ALL you can do.

Well we don’t have to wonder why you left your country????

I hope you left your attitude and bad manners back there and came here with a smile!

    Holleeeee????

Some people just don't get it - hence the need to further their education.

I have never seen it here - which goes to show you where children are reared in a correct manner.

  5. Re: kids throwing tantrums.

I have done this - and it worked.

Get up, go to the child, and tell them in a loud voice to "Shut the Hell Up"

This gets the parents into the act, and they get told the same thing. Control your children. Unable - then leave.

At times I have even received applause.

    Peace and Harmony restored.

  7. Got back from a couple days in Fang. Up the 3037 and overnight.

Then did the 1014. Tried 3 different ways to access the 3037 but Nat'l park closed and they stopping people at the gates.

Even tried going overland to hit the main road on a muddy potholed mess of a trail. Lo and Behold they had people stopping you there too !

Oh well - great few days anyway !

Thnx for the heads up, but i though these modern cars are coming with remaped engines, dont they?

If your owners manual says it is E85 compliant. Most new models are multi fuel.

As all cars are different, there are no hard and fast rules.

You will have to try the different fuels out, and determine a cost per Km or cost per 100 Km with each of them, doing the type or driving you do, where you live.

Then you can decide which fuel suits your needs the best.

When riding I find it is guys in Vios, City, Almera, Swift, etc - all the econoboxes - who drive the worst - Hi speed, weaving in and out, pass you with no room. on a solid line, uphill around corners.

Not recommended. This leads to a harsh ride, premature central band wear and poor emergency stopping capabilities in the wet.

    Agreed.

There is a reason that the OEM recommends tire pressures.

I run mine a little less than recommended usually - experiment and see what works best for me. Have an IR temp gauge so takes seconds to check hot pressures.

Hiway car gets new boots at 50% wear. But I run it fast.

Back in my bike racing days we went by the 10% rule - diff between cold and hot should be 10%.

Tires come a LONG way since then
