Deputy Governor of Bangkok, Pol Lt Col Sophon Pisutiwong led an inspection in the Ekamai-Thong Lor area initiated under measures against the spread of COVID-19
Pol Lt Gen Sophon is certainly a force to be reckoned with...
It seems like only yesterday our defender of the faith was valiantly battling those 'over-priced gift basket' scallywags. And now, with barely time to change his face mask, he's turned his righteous anger on those rascally, unsanitary foreigners who conspire to defile karaoke bars with unwashed hands.
The country has nothing to fear with fearless, intrepid warriors like Pol Lt Gen Sophon leading the way forward....

Once a week…. one of the court servants is detailed to wake the deputy PM….
“Sorry to disturb your rest Excellency, but it’s time to order something."
“Good, I’m getting hungry….bring me a family pack of KFC, six Big Macs, a kilo of French fries, two dozen Krispy Kremes for dessert, and a few liters of Sang Som to wash it all down."
“Of course Excellency…your normal mid-morning snack. But first could you give us your weekly instructions for the peasants? They get distracted when no one tells them what to do.”
“I don't know.... just think of something that sounds good on TV.....no one is going to listen anyway. Now bring me my food....so I can eat and get back to sleep."
“Of course Excellency. Very good, Excellency."

This is too funny…..
The people guilty of bribery will have to bribe the people investigating bribery….in order to be found not guilty of bribery.
There's never a dull moment.

Over-priced gift baskets once again threaten the peace and serenity of Thai society.
A persistent, recurring problem of this magnitude calls for at least three primary committees, a dozen or so sub-committees, and an unlimited number of working groups.
But the people should rest easy knowing that Pol Lt Gen Sophon is on the case….he has an uncanny eye for gift basket scofflaws.

The guy who owned the vinyl board business made so much money that he cashed in and bought a string of ASQ hotels.

If you look at a country like India there are not many alcoholics. Why? They have spiritual, community and cultural life that keeps them occupied.
There are not many of a lot of things in India....like toilets, for example. Not sure how spirituality makes up for that.

Standard Thai operating procedure....
No thought is given to a stable and proper business plan...and no thought is given to honestly providing a quality product for a fair price.....
It's all about trickery, guile, deception, fraud, and 'slight-of-hand' to cheat visitors/customers out of money.
Welcome to Thailand.

So much for the government having an independent judiciary….
So much for the government having respect for the rule of law…..
We see again and again the military regime using the legal system as merely a tool to suppress free thought and free speech.
It’s gone far beyond sad….it’s become an obscenity.

Come on people….where’s the love?
Poor Royal Harry has led a difficult life…burdened with posing for endless photographs and wasting hundreds of millions of other people’s money on frivolous nonsense. No easy task….but he’s done a splendid job.
And now Ms. Markle’s virtuous commitment to social justice is presenting him with additional challenges. To further the cause, he has moved into in a plebian 14.7 million dollar home…with only sixteen bathrooms! Hard to believe one man can withstand such horrific privation….and yet still find time to preach his holy gospel to the world.
His unwavering commitment to pompous, pretentious, hypocrisy is clear….and he’s developed into a first=rate media junkie and an exceptional attention whore.

Clearly the Ministry of Education‘s (MOE) major concern is not education…but control.
Their objective is to create a submissive, compliant, and obedient population….who will do as they’re told and not question their ‘superiors’ And the MOE is operating straight out of the Junta playbook of pursuing objectives through threats and intimidation.
But suing a bunch of students? If they don’t want to be seen as foolish…they shouldn’t make a habit of doing so many foolish things.

The result....was never in doubt.
The Hero-General has an absurdly large army (for a country with no intention of ever fighting anyone…except unarmed Thai people), lots of really expensive, scary weapons (some of which theoretically work), billions upon billions of (choose your currency) stashed away in an endless number of world-wide banks,....and a complete lack of honesty, integrity, ethics, and morality .
He also has an extensive collection of the exceedingly rare and highly prized…”Protection from the Law” amulets…which guarantee lifetime immunity for any and all crimes.
The Constitutional Court was no doubt much impressed with such...extraordinary credentials.

Because everyone knows that the fix is in and the result is a foregone conclusion.

Thailand again considers 10 day quarantine for some tourists
Maybe they should come up with another super-catchy, irresistible sales promotion like:
“Now offering a new deluxe quarantine package for exclusive quality tourists… pay for 14 days but only stay for 10.”
Another excellent opportunity to make the evil foreigners pay more for less.

Covid-19 second wave to hit year-end spending by Bt16 billion, economist warns
in Thailand News
Posted · Edited by Hayduke
There is no reason to be concerned….
The government’s brilliantly conceived, meticulously calculated, and flawlessly executed tourism stimulus plans are guaranteed to produce in excess of 52 gazillian bajillion Baht over the next 30 days. This will more than compensate for any minor and temporary "second wave".
But a 'state of emergency' still remains absolutely necessary.....just to make sure.
