The...only....real...purpose of the Thai army is to threaten and point weapons at Thai people.
Their only other function is to occasionally dress up for Hi-So parties and try to look pretty.
If Thailand were ever invaded by some foreign 'threat'....the Thai army would surrender so fast they probably wouldn't even have time to try and sell their gear.

Another brilliant, far-sighted move by the Hero-General and his heroic band of well-dressed warriors.
While others are wringing their hands and moaning about silly distractions like the economy…the Fearless Leader stays focused on the priority issues facing Thailand. As all correct-thinking people know...lavish, extravagant, luxurious transportation for the military elite is absolutely essential to ensure the country's security. And security is job one.
All true patriots joyously praise the nation’s leadership....who remain battle-ready and poised to meet any and all challenges.

Not at all sure how you find a tangible plausible link to China but up to you !
Okay...what it means is that this government will never do....anything...that could potentially anger some countries....particularly and especially China. Which only means that the 'without exemption' part of the CCSA statement....doesn't really mean 'without exemption'. It means 'sometimes without exemption' and China is an example of when...it...will...not...apply. China does whatever it wants in Thailand.

Not quite the same situation as slipping off to a condo with no supervision or even the approval of the other residents. Does the approval of Thai authorities for that does also imply the rights of the other occupants of the condo are of no consequence in favour of brown nosing some Diplomat??
Yes...it directly implies that the rights of ordinary condo occupants are of no consequence to this government if it means potentially angering...China. Not Estonia, but...but China.

Right....as if the 'without exemptions' actually means...'without exemptions'..
Can you imagine what would happen to the Immigration Officer who insisted on stopping a Chinese diplomatic passport holder and...subjecting...him to an involuntary 14 day
quarantineimprisonment? The offending IO would likely see a 50 year course of quarantined attitude adjustment.

After, of course, the generals have taken in their monthly tribute...in the form of salaries, wages, payments, incentives, commissions, bonuses, compensations, donations, offerings, shares, dividends, gratuities, fringe benefits, etc etc.

You have to applaud their idealism, respect their patriotism, and admire their courage....but the odds are still stacked steeply against them.
Unfortunately…the greedy, opportunistic gang of thugs that has stolen their country will only leave when they are forced out at gunpoint by new gang of greedy, opportunistic thugs.
And the cycle of uniformed banditry will continue….

Visit your neighbor for a friendly and amiable chat.
Tell him (quietly) that someone has damaged your car. Let him know you’re telling him this because of your close friendship and you want him to be careful...as there are vandals about.
Then tell him (with just the trace of an evil smile) that the wax on your car contains a very powerful…but very slow acting toxin that is released when the surface is scratched. A special farang poison so lethal that the slightest contact will ultimately result in a painful and lingering death. Of course you don't worry because you have an antidote...but the person who damaged your car is in deep trouble.
Remind him again to be careful, tell him again how much you value his friendship...and return home. Make sure to smile and wave whenever you see him.

You have to admit…the staff who dress the General every day are really on top of it. All the Isan trips come compete with snappy ‘common farmer, man of the people’ costumes.
Wonder what delights the wardrobe wizards will have spun up when General finds reason to court the ladyboy community….

Apparently these two treacherous malcontents have maliciously failed to have their confidence rebuilt by the Hero-General.
This would clearly qualify as treason, sedition, disloyalty, rebellion, insurgency, insurrection, mutiny, subversion, blasphemy, heresy, apostasy…and...at least another two or three hundred offenses.
Thank goodness the patriotic, ever-vigilant and correct-thinking police were able to swiftly arrest these desperate and dangerous criminals....and protect the community from their foul thought crime.

(and a good way to express displeasure at their violation of the HK agreement)
It confirms nothing of the sort.
China’s response to the UK/Hong Kong has yet to come.
It may have more to do with the fact that all Chinese companies and all Chinese citizens are required by the National Intelligence Law of the PRC to “support, assist, and cooperate with national intelligence efforts”...as specified in Article 7 (see below).
Article 7: All organizations and citizens shall support, assist, and cooperate with national intelligence efforts in accordance with law, and shall protect national intelligence work secrets they are aware of.

Huawei obviously falls under this law and is therefore….not an independent corporation…but, in accordance with Chinese law, a direct agent of the PRC.

If the time-wasting buffoons at the FBI were up to speed on cutting-edge crime fighting and fugitive catching….they would have had a BMW Smart Car on the case. She would have been caught months ago…and would have committed suicide by now.
They have been observing and gathering info, they have known where she has been the entire time... if your going to arrest someone this powerful with such high connections it had better be a well documented and as water tight as possible case. Epstein island has provided much new info and they have it all.

New Immigration requirement…effective immediately.
All farang are now required to purchase a minimum of 30 million Baht golf liability insurance. Farang who actually play golf will be required to buy a 60 million Baht policy.
Only policies from selected and...'Trusted'...Thai companies are acceptable.

Bars have been paying the police to ignore the smoking ban since day one.
This sounds like some of the recently reopened bars maybe haven’t been quick enough to pay the required smoking bribes…which have, in all probability, been significantly raised to make up for lost police revenue.
And a ban on "Advertising alcohol consumption" is just one more coercive shakedown to keep the police fat and happy.
It's obvious the police are setting an example of anyone who isn’t showing the right attitude. Good Thai citizens are expected to fully cooperate with official extortion.

Ghislaine Maxwell seeks bail, citing coronavirus, and denies Jeffrey Epstein charges
This whole thing is certainly a sordid mess...but it has produced some priceless royal humor. A clip from the train wreck BBC interview when Prince Andrew was asked about the photo of him with his arm around Virginia Roberts…
Emily Maitlis, interviewer: I'm just trying to understand, there's a photo inside Ghislaine Maxwell's house, Ghislaine herself in the background, why would people not believe that you were there with her that night?
Prince Andrew: They might well wish to believe it but the photograph is taken upstairs and I don't think I ever went upstairs in Ghislaine's house.
Truly a classic response. The man has a bright future in....uh...well...something.
