The right timing for the opening of the first school semester of this year should not be a political decision, but should be based on scientific reasoning,
Scientific reasoning? Like that's really going to happen....

This is like coming up with a rehabilitation plan for a hard-core alcoholic which consists of giving him an open ended charge account at his favorite liquor store....but only on the condition that he returns the empty bottles.

A Facebook post reported on by the Thai media claimed that a stranded Nigerian tourist has been living at Bangkok's main airport since March.
Maybe Immigration is confused because they’ve never seen a real, no-kidding, genuine, Nigerian…tourist…before.

Why?....it's simple. The Generals and their Hi-so friends need a means of free, all purpose air travel. We can't expect the nation's elite to actually pay for their airline tickets, now can we? Screw the the Lo-so out-of-work people....they don't matter.

Standard operating procedure. Seize 500 kilos…reweigh using official super-accurate police scales...new total: 220 kilos.

Just wondering, is there still executions taking place in Thailand? if there are, no one ever gets to hear about them unlike other countries, and if not, what's the point of the death sentence than?...
Could be the defendant and the prosecution couldn’t agree on a price…and the prosecution finally said ‘screw it’ and rolled out their big guns.
This malignant <deleted> may still have the opportunity to buy his way out, but the price has no doubt just gotten a lot higher. But if they do put him away…prisoners sentenced to death (I believe) get to wear heavy leg shackles 24/7…forever.
Hope so…..

Depends on the opponent. Now...If someone could convince Thailand's biggest, baddest, toughest, meanest super hero to take the ring for this bout, it would be the fight of the century. Personally I would gladly pay 100,000 Baht to see Iron Mike square off against Thailand's best.

What's the problem? These are simply good, honest, and conscientious Thai citizens who saw that an accident had blocked the road and decided to stop, help clear all the rubbish out of the way, and reopen the road. They should be commended for their selfless efforts and sense of civic responsibility.

US airlines are great for adding fees for most everything. So…maybe they should divide aircraft seating into ‘mask’ and ‘no mask’ sections. Charge a ‘no-mask’ fee of $300 dollars for anyone who opts to buy a ‘no-mask’ seat.

PM acts on overcoming drought
Wait a minute….the fearless leader wants people to dig…wells?
What happened to the old tried and true methods? What happened to prayers? What happened to songs? What happened to magic incantations? What happened to ordering the forces of nature to obey? Where’s that old ‘flash’? Where’s that old 'bang'? Now the people have been reduced to identifying water sources and ‘being proactive’?
Seems the big guy’s game may have lost a step or two.

But bear in mind the well thought out and highly sophisticated Thai hotel business model. You simply raise prices as needed to compensate for the lack of customers.

Hopefully this will turn out to be a success story.
Still…it would be interesting to compare the accurate number of people officially reported as infected with a true and accurate number of complete tests actually performed. As one way to keep infection rates statistically low might be to submit only a small number of people to complete testing. No real test = no real positives.
Factor in that the government regularly shows great creativity with numbers, and is compulsively…economical…with the truth, and you’re left wondering.

Which means….it may be another nine months before his monthly bonuses, personal commissions, shares, paybacks, dividends, benefits, gratuities, compensations and other cash incentives…will get back to their minimal levels of a billion per month. Poor guy is feeling the pain like everyone else....

Ah….a clever PR plan by the general. Keep borders open, welcome Chinese plague carriers, create a huge pubic health problem, put millions of people out of work, deal tourism a mortal blow, devastate much of the economy…all so a government Super Poll can recognize his genius. Absolutely brilliant.

Any of the barbers that the members of the Thai Cabinet use should be OK. They are always well groomed so the illegal hairdressers they use must employ barbers with two meter long arms
Impossible to get an appointment. The famous and highly skilled 'long arm' barbers are extraordinarily busy right now...as all cabinet members have to get their hair dyed three times a day.

Seven foreigners nabbed for illegal sex, fraud or stealing
in Thailand News

Not necessarily. The innocent and ‘trusting’ (note important name brand change) Thais would never have voluntarily chosen a life of crime….they were obviously corrupted by the evil, malevolent, and dangerous foreigners.
