  1. You’re getting pretty exhaustive with your comments. Your energy is quite remarkable though, spending so much of it venting your dislikes. If you’re expecting to convert people from their hedonistic pleasures (in your mind), I think you’ve already failed.
  2. I have COPD, I have used a device called Airofit, where you do breathing exercises that you follow on your phone via Bluetooth. I have used it basically for 4 years now on a daily basis, except when sick or on holidays. It strengthens your auxiliary breathing muscles so you’ll find breathing easier. This device is used by athletes, but many people with lung problems have found it helpful. Indeed I have. You will be able to improve your lung volume, hold your breath on both inhale and exhale, thus making you more carbon dioxide tolerant which has many advantages. i also use an OPEP device, which you exhale into, it forces you to cough, and with the vibrating metal ball inside the device it helps loosen up flegm in the lungs so you cough it up. I also have an oxy/pulse meter, I have good levels 98-99%. But one would expect this seriously deteriorating whilst having a lung infection. So test again when you don’t have an acute infection. I use several other tools, won’t go into here unless you’re curious/interested. There are useful supplements, NAC (helps thin mucus), Mullein leaf, Boswellia (LOX-5 inhibitor), all of these help lessen the production of mucus in your lungs. When inflammation is in your airways, your body tries to over compensate with the production of mucus, so those supplements work on dampening the constant inflammation. Best of luck, take care.
  3. Isn’t it sad that the action of one has such large consequences for all others. Look at the shoe- bomber eg, since then everyone had to take their shoes off for security measures. That has recently been relaxed. But still, negative actions have a long lasting impact on all others. Sad!
  4. No it’s not. You get very little D3 from food. The human body (just like plants, actually, needs sunlight and cholesterol to get usable D vitamin. The worst skin cancer, melanoma, is often found on the body where the sun doesn’t reach.
  5. Professionals in their field will prove what their paymasters want them to prove. Unfortunately, this has become the norm these days rather than the exceptions.
  6. Fermentation has much to do with it. Fermented cabbage, fruits and veggies in general are super healthy - sulfur. However, too much alcohol is certainly a no-no. 😊
  7. I don’t know that that is true. I smoked cigarettes for tons of years, and back then it was also said smoking will lead to other drugs. Never did for me, an no one I know. Actually, I tried smoking cannabis once, 45yrs ago 🤣, got so nauseous, never tried it again. Could actually do with some now since having occasional sleep onset problems. Managed to quit cigarettes and started vaping, got healthier lungs (medically proven), but now that’s illegal!!! Go figure. What becomes legal or not seems to depend on the amount of 💰 changing hands. It’s nonsense to believe that the authorities care about its citizens’ health, an argument which is used when it serves them. Unfortunately seems like our so called “healthcare” also cares about 💰coming in for treating problems rather than curing/preventing them.
  8. So if there are no symptoms, why test for anything? This goes beyond ridiculous. No one tests for anything unless they feel ill? It’s as though the world is willing us to find Covid under any unturned stone.
  9. That’s the reason why I’ve found a holistic doctor, one who has high credentials in both western medicine as well as homeopathic, TCM and Ayurdevic medicine. It’s taken a long time to undo all the toxic actions of drugs over the years to finally start seeing the “light at the end of the tunnel”.
  10. I know an old lady who swallowed a horse…………
  11. Healthfoodthailand sells on-line too.
  12. I’m a bit confused here. So much talk about Covid, yes understandable. However, when there are tons of flu cases, why is that not blazooned on MSM, and asking about the latest vaccines, and if the poor flu patients have received the latest flu jab? Are schools closed due to the flu. Online teaching due to the flu? These days both those diseases seem to be similar in severance, they both have different strains each year. Why are we getting so worked up over Covid still?
  13. I agree, modern medicine is outstanding when it comes to acute problems: heart attacks, strokes, accidents, food poisoning, broken bones, acute wounds, just to name a few. However, modern allopathic medicine lacks in the understanding of chronic, metabolic, endocrine problems, these problems are treated with symtom releavers, not curing the patient. I too doubt any prayers to a deity would have helped in your case.
  14. Maybe we, humans, are the ones who created cancer???
  15. I must agree with you here. I’ve taken a specific interest in how cells work in the body. The more I read about the cells and cell signalling pathways, that each and every part of the body is inter connected, like a complicated huuuuge orchestra, where one thing going wrong impacts all other parts to some degree. How is it possible the biochemistry the cells, the neurons, the lungs, the Krebs cycle without which we could not live. It’s all so incredibly precise, how is it possible? It’s not random. This has made me wonder about how it all could start. It’s been a humbling experience trying to understand this. Makes me realise that today’s medical system has it all wrong. Specialists in one body part/organ fail to see the whole picture. The cause of a body part in distress may be in a totally different area. It’s truly amazing!
  16. The audacity of that last sentence is quite stunning. The hypocrisy is outstanding. Being a low hooker would be obsolete if it weren’t for the low payers! Both are needed for the transaction to take place, and then for the payer to consider himself squeaky clean and the hooker a low life - speaks volumes about the mind of the author.
  17. The more we vaccinate the more new strains will arrive. Viruses are pretty cunning!
  18. Dear GG, actually at times, I find your ruminations quite entertaining. As far as the bird is concerned, I believe he/she recovered and has flown away. Happened to me several times. 😊
  19. I can agree with you on this, in particular about vaping. Many people have been able to quit smoking cigarettes and are now exclusively vaping instead. I know, not harmless, but according to independent scientific papers, much less harmful than smoking, IF using reputable vapes and liquids. The fact that one is penalised in Thailand for vaping but not for smoking cigarettes is quite flabbergasting. I know of several large company executives who would be happy to have a holiday in Thailand say they will not come due to being treated like a criminal for vaping.
  20. I personally wish that visiting areas where local people live in the cities, were as attractively kept as in many other countries. Flowers or shrubs in pots, cascading down the walls, neatly swept entrance driveways etc. Instead there are piles of junk heaped outside the front door and in the yard, seemingly having been there for decades. Plastic bags being strewn about also along the highways. It looks unkempt, unhygienic and quite ugly. Is there no ingrained sense of beauty in the average Thai household member? in Europe eg, even in areas where the not so affluent people live, there is a sense of pride in maintaining beauty and cleanliness surrounding their humble abodes. Why is this lacking here? is the infrastructure re removal of rubbish so poorly promoted here that nobody cares? Pity!
  21. I would love to eat the CAFO, GMO grain eating, hormone-, antibiotic injected beef. Good idea!
  22. Since we are classified in religious beliefs depending on where we were born, it’s quite arbitrary really. Most of us have not chosen the designated religion per se. Very few of us, these days have actually chosen our labeled religion. This name calling depending upon where in the world you were born is actually quite misleading. Very few, generally speaking, are active believers in their country’s designated religion. They follow the rules of society so as not to risk detention or worse. Theoretically, the Pope should be a leader for kindness, love, and wellness for all. Introspective thoughts and generally a seeking of pure joy. Revelling in nature’s bounties and the animal/human kingdom should perhaps be more thought about, that is if one is a bit more spiritually advanced and not only seeking the pursuit of more and bigger gadgets in the belief that it will give happiness and joy. Unfortunately, as someone above said, our leaders of the world in general can’t seem to get enough power, not caring about the detrimental effect it may have on others.
  23. I agree, very well written indeed. No matter whether or not you’re a MAGA fan or not, the observations are astute.
