    Didn't really understood the point of the topic, are you upset at people who sold their properties or at yourself? it's very simple, it's all about your financial situation, if you sold and keep the funds to buy again so what is the problem? if you sold and spent the money, Oh well...

    By now this topic have been covers for all possible scenarios and reasons and most of the replies are correct, just to add that i had both good and bad experiences with Thai tradies, the trick is to constantly monitor what they are doing and point out the problems, but still, up to the luck who are those guys and the level of their workmanship...

    While Thailand is seeking to have many millions of tourists coming to visit all the while not acknowledging and not addressing the problems that there is acute shortage of workers throughout the kingdom and cheap labour at that too, this is the case of 'you can't have your cake and eat it too'...

    Nothing worse that reading a ridicules statement in the morning coming from the people who are the least trusted to make such promises, i think they meant 1 hour and 20 second, Relating to that, my sister is currently staying in a 5+ stars resort in Pattaya and while there are plenty of staff very few of them speaks english, much less than Kazakh and Chinese...
