    And there's lies the problem that causes untold number of similar death all around the country that not even the police can help it, it is only up to the parents to prevent minors from riding/driving motor vehicles.

    The interest rates Thai banks gives you on long terms deposit are laughable and insulting to one's money, something like 1.5% p.a. in Australia i get 4.8% p.a. which is more like it.

    Both are good, reliable cars, but in resale terms, it'll be easier to sell the Mazda and lose less than the Volvo.

    I beg to differ, i don't know what is your knowledge and experience with buying amulets, but if you know your amulets well, you can find a real and good ones, ( not cheap though) i should know as i use to deal with them but now i only deal with stuff such as valuable Thai banknotes, coins and medals.

    In the eye of most Thai, Thaksin seems to be getting the preferential treatment by the prison authorities and strongly backed by the government and all this for one man who brought shame and disrepute on the Thai government when he did a runner when he did and now he's the darling of the Thai government.

    Theses kind of scenes has by far surpassed every and any lawless third world country where the law means virtually nothing if you know the right people, i don't know how Thai people can live with such shame, which doesn't seems to bother them much.

    Born in the early '50s i can now say without a doubt that i had many, many moments i now cherish dearly and with fond memories, pity though, it didn't felt so back than, when it did mattered the most.
