  2. BANGKOK (NNT) - Thai Beverage Plc (ThaiBev) and its four major trading partners will host the nation’s largest Sustainability Expo 2022 (SX 2022) from September 26 to October 2 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, President and CEO of ThaiBev and chairman of Sustainability Expo 2022, said the event is being hosted to support Thailand’s goal of achieving its sustainable development goals (SDGs) by 2030. Thanapa added that the expo will also feature a number of products inspired by the sufficiency economy philosophy of His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, as well as services offered by the five companies. According to Thanapa, the "Sustainability Expo 2022: Good Balance, Better World" exhibition occupies an area of 40,000 square meters. Over 100 international and domestic companies and 150 speakers have been invited to showcase their products. As Thailand prepares to make a significant leap toward sustainable development, aided in part by government policy based on the bio-circular-green (BCG) economy model, Thapana said the event will also serve as a platform to educate and raise public awareness about sustainable development. Additionally, it will assist business entrepreneurs in gaining a deeper understanding of business sustainability. Last year’s sustainability expo attracted over 100,000 attendees. The hybrid event, which featured 20 organizations, 120 vendors and 90 speakers, generated as many as 6.2 million views on Facebook and over 900,000 views on YouTube.
