Girls were always the big draw but if you end up paying 100 GBP + then even that is not worth it.
If it did I would leave as that is why I am here.
All total that is about the rate now at the higher end Gogo's. Which is why I never go. I hope most residents know better.

I love the location.
Many others must also as there are many people visit ing the place. The baht bus if you take it stops right in front of the place what else do you want?
It is close to me 24/7 market I Iove it.
The food and Movies at the mall are wonderful much better then Central.
It is a fantastic food court much much better then Central.
I assume the OP may live in Jomtien or another out of the way place with no mall or real market with nothing to do.
Most of us that actually live in Pattaya love it.

got to love some posters here and their complete and utter lack of logic, common sense or any kind of thinking
Yes, I agree.
1 cancelled flight vs. 20 added is a senseless illogical naive argument.
Thanks for confirming my post. Good job.

sure as hell daily flights do not get cancelled when there is demand for it.
Hahaha.
Wow, ok.
Yet there are 20 + more flights from China even over the past few years.
Sorry my friend, Thailand does not live and thrive any more off Australia or other western tourists.
Not even close.

My rotating list of 10 young sexy girls may be much more desperate and provide a discount

Not a single incident where thai was at fault , they walked free or with a wai but locked up and charged
so yeah I am an expert not a myth creator
So, sounds like you have been involved in what ... 5 fights in the past year.
Wow.
You are The Man.
There must be some type of accommodation award you are eligible for.
Thank you so much for your service.

If she has never had a regular job but speaks pretty good English.......don’t believe for a minute th he never worked in a bar.
Not in all cases but another tell tale for bargirls are tattoos.
Do not know if I have ever met one who did not have a tat someplace.

I will tell you one thing.
If you think that Thai women are submissive, quiet women that take on domestic duties like Pete above me says you are in for a world of hurt. As Thai women become more independent and not depend on men for income they are about 100 times more feminazis then what you would encounter "back home" in the west.
Just my observation. Others will disagree
Yes, I do disagree.
My experience has not been the same as yours I guess. But, the US women are the worst I believe. There are many many more women here who are submissive and domesticated from my experience. Much better and giving sexually also.
But, you will not find them in some bar or freelance place. The business women in Bangkok also mostly not.
Many places in this country still with good down to earth women who will take care properly.
PS: The weak western male has created these issues. Allowing women to control them. Do not allow that to happen set the rules very early on.

Where are all the "Thais never go to jail or get prosecuted for crimes against Falang" dimwits?
Great job by RTP and prosecutors!

The title should be The ignorance of Falang and their assets in Thailand.
Condos
Cars
Motorbikes
Bank accounts
Ask an expat what happens when they are gone and they shrug their shoulders "I don't know, the embassy will take care of that". Or, "I have a will in my home country".
Most have no clue and no idea and are too cheap to pay for proper legal advise here.
There are ways to protect your Thailand assets but you need to see a proper lawyer to get the necessary documents completed.
Don't be stupid and leave your family/loved ones with nothing.

The bottom line; Thailand lost 86,000 a month because no one in authority has a brain. The country will continue to lose money to neighbours until jobs are awarded on merit not family connections.
And 10 more Chinese coming will more then make up for it so no one cares.

There's a good reason milk is low on the Asian food agenda - lactose intolerance. Interestingly, some dairy derived products are less of a problem, which may explain why Thais aren't so adverse to gobbling down the odd yoghurt, ice-cream, or cheese topped pizza.
It is ignorance perhaps.
10's of thousands of Thais everyday sucking down several of those Carnation condensed milk 1000 calorie coffee drinks.
All the milk and sugar they in some way believe it is all an ok pick me up. When in reality, it is a calorie laden diabetes death warrant.
I hate those drinks, but Thais certainly sadly are in love with them.

How very very sad that a 60 year old cannot meet the Thailand long stay requirements and needs to relegate their lifestyle to a third world country.
It all seems like such a down grade from Thailand and most of your "I wants" won't happen, but if you must do it Cambodia would probably be the better choice.

My mother died after Dementia I get it.
Sorry it is not good, but I have little sympathy for those in this story. They are actually very lucky.
Putting one in a care home is the western way of handling this.
There are 100's of thousands of families in the world with family members suffering from this. And, many of them no way have 85,000 b a month to pay for care.
The families that cannot afford care and are actually struggling daily to get through each day with the stress, mental and physical demands required.
These are the families I have true sympathy for.

I think the drunken sex tourist has damaged reputations over the years as well...
The 10's of thousands of girls, families, children, bars, etc. that industry supports most certainly would disagree with you....

This will all end with a Chinese bail out.
Possibly behind the scenes.
The Chinese love this place. Want to control and basically own Thailand.
It is coming you will see.

No "exception" should be made that is just opening a can of worms because where does immigration draw the line?
She could or did not want to meet the current rules, so moved on.
It is what it is hope everything works out in Phils. They are maybe the best caregivers in the world anyway.

The OP seems very happy and obviously can afford the great service he paid for.
My experience with agents is the price may vary on what documents a person has or does not have to get their extension.
And depending on demand, the price could change.
My suggestion if one wants to know the price regarding their particular situation to call or visit the agents office.
