  1. You can get studios off Oh Nuts and a short mb ride from the Skype train for 5,000b.  In a clean low story building.  I know a girl who has one about 4 minutes to the train.  Just a room and a shower.  She put in a hot plate and microwave.

Doubt anthing in low Sukhumvit but at Oh Nuts going toward Siam for several stops you can find places in your range.  I do not think a new highrise condo though.

What it will show is how many stamps were in the previous passport before a new passport was issued and if there were only enough stamps for half the passport and there was plenty of time left on that passport before it expired then it will raise questions on why you have applied for a new passport and what are you trying to hide so you risk a much more detailed scrutiny and have to answer many more questions as to why the new passport.

No it does not. In their interior computer database.

Not from every other country you have entered or exited on the history of your previous passport.

And many people lose, get stolen, wash in the laundry, drop in water their passports and go to their embassy to get a new one.  Easy to explain why you have a new one.

The concern on TV is usually some questionable historical issues with Thailand.  People who think getting a new passport will wipe the slate clean.  This is false thinking like reported, all your previous dealings with immigration in this country is in fact recorded in their system.

There are some worldwide databases for criminals and terrorists that Thailand has access to.  Interpol being the most common.  With this, I always question why some people reporting on here are pulled aside at the airports and grilled.

Could it be their criminal past or questionable activity/affiliations that creates the IO investigation?

Possibly, but of course they would never admit it on here would they.

  3. Pent up demand then later in the year sales will be huge.

I own the stock but not the phone. Never got why or could justify the cost.

It seems like one of those ridiculous "look at me" purchases. Especially here paying more then one months salary for a phone. Like getting a drink at Starbuck's and posting it on Facebook. Wow, great congratulations you have truly made it.

A friend of mine, who recently returned to Samui made a similar observation. He said all the real talent was on Tinder. He used it to great effect. The world is changing. But, Pattaya and Bangkok still seem to have plenty of talent available without the use of social media, which I tend to dislike.

At night many of the online girls are standing on Beach road anyway.  That's why you see them starring at their phones, then suddenly running across the street catching a mb taxi to their next customer.

  5. Pattaya has for awhile been a place to settle for older males.  As they die off, more are and will come.

Divorced from some old Bitty in their home country.  Able to have the company of girls less then half their age.  Many places to eat and drink.  Inexpensive housing affordable after giving half their assets to their exwife.

There will always be a plenty supply of men in this situation throughout the world who will discover Pattaya.

As far as younger fresh blood.  They seem to lack the funds and are mostly looking for free company.

Some find it but on the big picture, good luck.

Dunno, had a pal who did a year in Bangkok jail for possession of Heroin, then deported and blacklisted.

Went back to the UK, got a new passport, came back a month later.

He's never had a problem since.

I've never found governments particularly competent at keeping track of people.

He is a doper and you trust his word?  I certainly would not.

In any event, if a person changes their name in their home country, then gets a new passport under that name, they will probably escape their past misdeeds.

To add, the technology of the airport immigration is pretty up to date.  I have seen my profile on it shows my photo and everything about me and my historical entry/exits.

But,  do questionable people slip thru without a hassle?  Sure of course, happens everywhere in the world I bet.

Bangkok to Pattaya is 1 and half hours tops, I've been stuck in front of Donmueang for longer

    Really?

Waiting at the front of DMK for 90 minutes for what?

There are several efficient ways to get quickly to DMK I have never waited more then a few minutes.

But, if wasting time, paying tolls, gas driving to Rayong (hope there is not an accident delaying an extra hour or so) for a flight is best for you, great.
