Why do people need to drive pickup trucks like they are sports cars. I just don't get it. R.I.P
1. Because they learned how to drive on a scooter, which is a toy to them.
2. Due to whatever blessing the car has had or their tattoo / amulet, they are more or lesa invincible.
3. Because Mai pen rai.

Most of you do not watch Thai TV, but your partners do, so ask them about this.
A while ago there was an undercover group who filmed exactly what these bus drivers do. They caught them red handed, on video, selling the gas from the bus. They drivera they confronted said they make up for the lost gas by the downhill part of the mountain, using the engine less and the brakes more. THAT is why the breaks always fail, because many of them don't downshift and also use the engine, they brake it all the way, until they fail.
This is all documented on video and shown on Thai TV a few years ago. Yet, over and over and over again, here we are, because there is a few hundred baht to be made.

And what of the trafficked beggars? Their sad situation legalized by the Thai government?
Perhaps the government should first figure out if they are begging of their own free will or not, otherwise, this will turn into a brothel like situation where their handlers will legally put them on the streets, which in turn will cause more people to be trafficked and turned into beggars.
May I be the first to say this is a horrible idea. Help them, don't enable them.

Too bad he is not a cop.

Someone didn't make their payment this month. Oops.

Just tax foreigners. That will fix everything.

Chinese gangs stealing on planes. Great.

I wish them the best of luck with their new toys. Hopefully, they will be maintained properly.

Incidentally, the word professional gets tossed around a lot. A true professional is someone with a terminal degree. Without citing the degrees - doctors, lawyers, certified cpa's, scientists, engineers with adv degrees, teachers, etc.
People building websites and managing social media, spammers, content scribblers are not professionals.
If they are good at what they do and earn a living doing it, they are professionals.

Can someone tell me what is so interesting hidden under the skirt?
Probably a penis.

To add... I can't fathom the outrage (and fine / extortion) had this been a foreigner.

This isn't the first time he has done this, and it won't be the last. That's a bold thing to do in the middle of 7-11, so no doubt he has lots of experience.
Should be fired, end of story. How can you trust the police if this is what they do?

Thailand was listed as #2 in the world for road causalities just a few days ago, and instead of dealing with that in any real manner, they focus on Chinese drivers and their cars. Can't say I'm surprised.

Still use my iPod classic after all these years. Bought a newer one and gave it away, the classic was better with a superior battery life.

He should charge everyone. However, this is Thailand and he is Thai. An artist he may be but Thainess runs through his veins.
Seen it once, no need to return. It was OK by Thai standards, but a Taj Mahal it is not.

Let's be honest, this time around is a sh*t show, so if this is the best the USA has to offer, I'll vote for the jester who entertains the best, Trump!
Besides, he is hated by both parties, so that is reason enough.

Looking forward to their week of enforcement, if they make it that long.

Diphenhydramine is what I'm looking for.
Have not had a chance to try the pharmacy in the basement of the mall yet.

Just let me visit Singapore real quick and then I'll come right back and go directly to jail, na krup.

We just left that island! Such a quiet place, never would have expected such a tragic event here.
Most of the workers there are Cambodian.

At least they excel at something.

Take a look at this thread: http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/452446-benadryl-antihistamine/
Since I posted in that thread a few years ago, it has become more difficult to find Diphenhydramine (Benadryl). Apparently kids were using it to get high - which is hard to imagine. Any way there are a couple of places that still stock it, and one is the Green Pharmacy in the basement of Kad Suan Kaew, right across from Tops Market. You'll need to catch the owner in (the friendly guy with glasses), as he keeps it locked up and only he can access it. He only stocks 50 mg. tablets but you can break it in half if you need to as the tablets are scored. I believe 10 tablets are 75 THB.
Thank you, I'll have a look there.

Head to the Samong area, property are usually selling them on the side of the road. Really cheap if you get from the locals and not the major super markets.

Money #1, Sanook #2.
And that's all that needs to be said about that.

Generally speaking, they are uneducated. The same can be said about the entire region. That's just how it is.
If you don't like that nasty truth, make it your life work to change it.
