The problem is if Bernie is the Dem nominee in the general, Trump and the right-wing machine will absolutely crucify him.  They will equate socialism to a shthole banana republic run by corrupt brown people.  And they will succeed.  Socialism is synonymous with no freedom of speech/religion/choice/press...no freedom at all!  I hope I'm wrong, but this is why Trump has been supporting Bernie and attacking everyone else. 

I do believe it is very possible the hard Left turn might be just what is needed in America after these last almost four years.

Thank you for the nice complements about my youthful looking age. Reagan was my Govenor. He was by no means a great President. I see that sort of claim about the a wealth issue quite the biased attack and ignore it. Empathy for the poor is not the same as a disdain to monatary success.
