Do you have a sweatometer or some kind of smellometer that you point at these people. Do they mind that your standing outside their room listening to find out if they showered before heading to the pool.

Seems to me that there might be other avenues of relaxation for you to find. But if smelling fat farang and measuring sweat is your cup of tea then have at it.

It never fails to amaze me. An old timer gets all bent out of shape because they have seen the same question asked again. This used to happen to me a lot when I worked in a touristy place.

Some days were no problem- happy to help. On days when Iwas in a crappy mood, I would get down to one knee, looking like I was framing up the photo, and cut their heads out of the picture!

if i have 5 month overstay, and after this 5 month i leave the country, pay the 20.000 baht, and come back 2 weeks later with a new passport that i order in my country, am i a persona non grata, or is everything ok?

also, can a do a visarun from phuket to ranong if my passport in not valid for 6 month anymore?

please do not advise me to order a new passport here in thailand, because this is at the moment not possible for me.

My wife is a killer of trees. When we bought our land four years ago, it had a nice jungle look. Thats what attracted me to it. I was thinking with a canopy like this there would be no need for the A/C running all the time. Well long story short, I didn't pick my words just right because when I came back a few months later it was mostly gone. I never said don't cut the trees I only said I liked all the trees. It just wasn't the same for me there after that. I lost interest in it. She did try and make me feel better by putting in several mangoes and lemon trees.

This sounds like it was recieved via email. One of those get rich chain letters that some poor misguided soul has sent on down the line.

Yes you are right, all Thais are stupid. Every single one of us loves blasting the speakers in our pick-up trucks to ear-shattering levels. Even the hi-sos love to do this, but you may not live near enough to any to realize it.

Of course, this would never happen in the US. All teenagers there are respectful citizens that would never trick out their car to play loud music - imagine the horror!
