Nigel Farage May 2016.
I think the quote should have been “ah ha” ... like Alan Partridge. Take a look at how GBP has performed since January 2016 ... has it soared?

If it were just your wife it would simply be a question of money, meeting the income requirements.
The wife's mother with alzheimer's and the now adult daughter might be a major sticking point ... that could only be overcome by having very deep pockets. Good luck.

As a currency trader, I expect the pound to fall dramatically in the 2-3 days after the 31st. Once the initial panic passes I expect common sense to prevail and the pound will recover to pre referendum rates within a year. 56-58 baht.
It's worth the short term pain in the long run.
A currency trader ... are you sure you’re not Nick Leeson?

Rather have a low GBP value for a few years than be occupied by Germany for eternity.
Typical Brexit bluster and bull. You are describing a country with its own currency, Parliament, tax raising powers, military ... you voted for a fantasy. Enjoy your unicorn.

Deluded. A no deal Brexit will cripple GBP, and you won’t see any recovery for donkeys years.
Keep on drinking the Brexit Kool Aid.

Do you think they would congratulate you for your clever predictions?
Or maybe they would wonder why you took so much pleasure in rubbishing your own country. I don't think those old soldiers would share in your glee at Britain's problems.
Brexiteers and Remainers alike want to see Britain recover from its present position. Do you? Or are you enjoying gloating too much?
The people who rubbished their own country voted for BREXIT ... what happened to all those sunny uplands we were going to?
And it it looks like some of the predictions, that you lot called project fear, are coming to fruition. And bear in mind we have not left the EU yet ... a no deal will slam GBP even further ... so reap what you sowed.

Why should they be concerned about the exchange rate ?
If you live outside the UK and earn GBP you've got a lot less to spend. If you stay in the UK and GBP continues to fall then items that you buy from overseas will be more expensive.
You're economically worse off.

Silly man. It's the pound that will be pounded straight up the gazoo, the Euro can only revive from the current british try at a stranglehold.
Really? You think “no deal” Brexit will see GBP soar? Watch out for flying pigs!

Brexit is like Islamic terrorism ... con a bunch of numpties into doing stuff against their best interests. Meanwhile the "con men" like Farage, Rees Mogg, Tice and Banks will be cashing in like the bankruptcy capitalists they are.

Johnson’s a conman and snake oil salesman. And he’s currently conning 160,000 members of the Tory party ... into thinking he’ll actually do a “no deal” exit ... expect some fudge involving May’s original plan.

It could be something obvious like chickenpox or measles. I broke out in a rash a few years back coupled with headache, aching body, and general weakness. It turned out to be chickenpox, something that I had as a child. The doctor explained that I might have had a weak dose as a child and my immunity had worn off. With people being paranoid about vaccines these old diseases are making a comeback.

3 hours ago, nauseus said:A broad brush but incorrect. Most Brexiteers still here that were also on TV in 2016 did not expect a no problem Brexit. Far from it. We did not expect the EU to offer up such a crappy "deal" and then actually expect that it would be accepted, either!
You were told in the debates that "they need us more than we need them" was bull scheid ... you were told during the debates that the Good Friday Agreement would be an issue ... you were told that you could not "have your cake and eat it" ... you called it "project fear"?
And now you can't deal with that reality ... it's all the fault of the EU or remainer's who fail to "believe" enough?
Smiley face please ... what a joke!

Yes, all nothing to do with the EU.
They voted leave about things that a UK government created. Isn't it ironic?
