^ Thanks, Simon43 said the same thing, often deserted midday even the high season.

^ That's the most ridiculous thing I have read on this forum, and believe me there's a lot of competition.
Intelligence has nothing to do with wealth. And if it did, you couldn't afford the computer you are using.
I think you mean a baby has a better chance of education with a wealthy family.

^ Sounds like a rotten family, not every foreign husband has these problems.

Well the information comes from Indo Siam who I know to be a bit dodgy, but still if the advice is wrong it shouldn't be on the TV site. Have it checked out SBK, thanks.

50K might not even pay for price of a child's international school.
Well.....not all kids go to an international school do they?

Just read this on the TV site about reasons why people should set up a private limited company.
2. Establishing as minimal a shell company as possible, for any of the following reasons:a. As a "front" for buying land.
b. As "front" for securing a non-immigrant Class B (employment) visa.
c. As a "front" for helping a Thai partner build an employment record, for purposes of assisting her in later getting a visa abroad.
Isn't this all illegal?
-
A Thai limited company with 4 employees, and 7 shareholders is "overkill" There is nothing for them to do and I would spend all my time coming up with make-work projects for the only purpose of having a visa and a work permit.
Suggest you get some more information on this because a foreigner can get a work permit without employing 4 Thai people.

Poor people are less intelligent than rich people.
I guess you are well below the poverty line then.

Their system is simple: taxes make it expensive to own a car. Therefore only the people willing to spend the money drive. Thus there is less traffic. Thus driving is more enjoyable for the rich, and travel on public transportation is more enjoyable for the poor. This system increases the quality of life everyone.
And what about the poor people who need a car for work/family reasons? How does this system improve their quality of life?

I'm not familiar with this particular beach, but surely at that time of the day there would have been other people there, a fair few witnesses you would imagine?

I can understand the police closing bars at the right time, but to close them early is surely against the law and the bar owners should be making noise about this.

Sorry for the late reply Wiley, had a week of sickness and it slipped my mind.
and stocks quite a few fish1.Tank is 30x 35 x 60 cmsApproximately 10 Goldfish,2 Japanese Loach,3 Dassia & 4 Minnows.Goldfish can be quite messy, if they are of a decent size then along with the other fish you may have an overstocked aquarium leading to water quality problems. This is one explanation, though usually you will find the other fish would start dying as well. I would say with your current stock level though you might want to leave it at that and forget adding new plecs. Even if the tank is not overstocked now it will be in the future as the goldfish and plecs will grow to a large size.
4.Unfortunately,our tank is beside the cat-litter tray,do you think there are vulnerable to an excess of nitrogen?I don't think that would effect it anyway.
5.The filter is a Fluval 4A,and changed weekly. The freshwater gets tap safe.Large filter for a small tank, hope it's not blowing the fish around like a whirlpool. The correct size for that size tank would be a Fluval 2/3. Not that it matters a great deal.
Very importantly it's worth knowing that when you clean the sponge out of the filter to wash it through with some of the tank water, and not tap water.
The sponge builds up with a large number of aerobic bacteria which help get rid of the ammonia and nitrogen in your tank. This bacteria colony is very important and a wash though of tap water can kill a lot of them off. This is also one of the main reasons a filter has to be running all the time.
Do you think that they are getting enough to eat ?Could definitely be the problem, many a time a plec will starve in a tank that doesn't have enough algae to support it, and they can be a bit slow getting to other food.
My top tip for keeping plecs is to feed them a bit of cucumber every few days, just a slice will do. The other fish will leave it alone and the plecs will love it. The cucumber slice can be floated in the tank if the plec is willing to go up and take it, but the best method it to weigh it down with a strip of metal weight, the same strips they use to tie around the bottom of aquarium plants. You know it's safe for the tank then.
Hope this helps, good luck.

What's with the 'newbie' shit? I've been a member of this site longer than you.
And yes quite obviously referring to the OP, didn't think I would have to point that out. Next time I will quote the whole post for you.

It seems your knowledge of Thai girls is mainly made up of girls who work in bars. Widen your social circles and you might stop asking stupid questions about whether or not women love their children.

I'm not an expert, but I believe toads are poisonous
BTW the noise has finally stopped. There's obviously a curfew on toad procreation.
I had the same problem at my last house.
The noise becomes unbearable at times, but more importantly, when they start laying their spawn, that will kill your fish.
Kill them I say.
I used to go out at night and smack them with end of a broom. Not pleasant but if you dont you will end up with a pond full of dead fish
Toad's spawning does not kill fish.

Phuket again.

Haggle some more, you'll probably get a cheaper deal than that.

We've had this argument before, ET doesn't understand the full meaning of the word 'home'.

^ I think if Taxexile dares to think about England, let alone discuss it publicly he should immediately take a taxi to the airport and leave. Ideally when I see these posts I'd like to be able to use a report button that directly informs The British Embassy that one of their citizens needs urgent repatriation.
There's dole bludgers needing his tax money over there <deleted>, the selfish sod.

If you can't dance to morlam you must be clinically dead, but don't expect snobby Bangkokians to play it.
I enjoy Morlam and I'm a Bangkokian. Bit snobby out in the countryside it seems?

^^ She is 17. The op was only one page back and already the story is getting distorted.

Well to be fair, they are only enforcing the law. It'll last a while this time I would have thought, but they'll always be some after hours place for a drink.
