Absolutely especially on his sons birthday, what possible reason could someone want to go to Bangkok alone when they are married with a kid on their sons birthday, firstly I'm surprised his wife even let him, and even more that he wanted to go. Agree and I am sure everyone hopes he is safe and well but historically how many times has this happened and the person who is an adult has just decided to extend their holiday. I Don't get some of the Trump haters an I am from the UK. In his last term he cut corporate tax stimulating investment and creating jobs bringing a record low unemployment rate, the stock-market also had record highs, deregulated 'stuff' stimulating trade. Reduced border crossings, got other countries to increase their NATO spending saving the US money and got the Covid vaccines out faster than most other countries. Why do some Americans still not like him apart from I guess he can be a little abrasive and divisive but is that not worth it for the benefits he provides?

Looks like I was sort of correct, looks like the plane is in the clear, the ATC's are in the clear and the helicopter was in the wrong place at the wrong time and had deviated it's flight plan to a disallowed altitude despite saying they had visually cleared themselves. This pilot guy who got all the ATC audio explains it much better than me. RIP and condolences to all the families very sad.

Hands in the air if you are working in Thailand (I don't work for the RD :)) or for that matter work at all, just in case any RD on the thread 🤣 If you have a business and are selling to the US then yeah that might be an issue, but reckon exporting from Thailand has many other options if advertising is done correctly, the US isn't the only country or market in the world that imports, also Thailand likes to be friends with everyone despite it's over military influenced government. They go to the meetings but not a member and I am not 100% sure about this but I read an article where the government had approved seeking membership but that is probably also BS as the same government approved buying a Submarine they never needed that also never happened also the government aren't so clued up on governing given they have 250 non-elected junta appointed senators (fresh in my mind posting on something similar the other day) so the army can approve anything they want, the only upside is it means there will be no coup until the political imbalance of 250 non-elected senators changes I will start posting again when I get out of jail for all my posts! 🤣

Some accurate facts here for sure, some misinterpretations and some speculation! I hasn't been on a sanction list it has been on a treasury watch list which is completely different, obviously around currency manipulation type stuff. Thailand is a MNNA to the US, I'll let you guys google that one, but means they do Army type stuff together and would make the US a lot more reluctant to impose anything upon thailand. If Thailand did join BRICS then would definitely cause a a big Trump (slang for fart) given then they would be directly aligned with Russia and China, and "suffer the consequences" is definitely correct terminology. Historically Thailand have kept out of larger geopolitical issues like this so I would be surprised if they did join BRICS (China)
